Kloverbox recently changed ownership and we're starting to review it again. (Previously, MSA readers let us know that Kloverbox had issues with customer care, and for now that seems to be a thing of the past.)

Kloverbox is a natural and organic beauty and lifestyle subscription box. According to Kloverbox, every month you’ll receive a sampling of “the best natural, cruelty-free and organic beauty, lifestyle, nutrition and healthy home products.

Wanderlust Scents Luxury Roller Ball in October Road - Value $10

klover-box-october-2016-0010

This roll-on natural perfume is free from alcohol - instead, the base is coconut oil. I really like the October Road scent. No surprise, it smells just like fall to me - spicy, and not overly sweet.

MyChelle Pumpkin Renew Cream - FULL SIZE! Value $28

klover-box-october-2016-0018

This is a lightweight cream that also feels super moisturizing - impressive! It's made with pumpkin seed oil, so that explains the name of the cream. (If like me, you were hoping this smells like pumpkin pie, you will be disappointed.)

But the good news is that it has a light, natural scent!

Beatnik Naturals Organic Facial Steam - Value $6

This facial steam bag is made with all organic ingredients including chamomile, rose, lavender and papaya leaf.

klover-box-october-2016-0015

To use these, you put 1-2 of them in a bowl with 3 cups of boiling water and steep for a few minutes. Then, drape a towel over your head and place your head above the bowl. Close your eyes and breathe deeply for 5-10 minutes.

(I'm terrible at doing things like this, so I only lasted a few minutes, but it smelled lovely!)

Good Common Sense Naturals Pumpkin Hand Sanitizer - Value $2

This hand sanitizer spray is alcohol-free and has a subtle pumpkin spice scent. (Yes, to more pumpkin smelling items!)

People Towels Hand Towel + Eco Sack - Value $8

klover-box-october-2016-0007

This is a washcloth made to be used as a reusable paper towel.

klover-box-october-2016-0006

It's 100% cotton, and the print is really cute!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $54. I think that's great for a $25 natural beauty and lifestyle box. Plus, I'm a huge pumpkin fan!

What do you think of the October Kloverbox

Every time I see an all-natural, organic type box, I cringe and wait for the item that has coconut. Being allergic to it, this negates so much value for me, even when the box has a bunch of other great stuff in it.

Kloverbox has improved so much with the new owners. I already have my November box and I think it’s even better than the October box.

I agree! November’s box is amazing!

I like that Kloverbox has lifestyle items, and I’m really happy with the direction from the new owners. This has once again become one of my favorites!

I like Kloverbox. I was disappointed when my subscription ended and I didn’t receive anything to renew it. I like this box and may re up.

The same thing happened to me. I really liked it in its 1.0 heyday and my subscription just stopped. And the MSA collab was really nice.

Will be keeping an eye on this one in the future.

I could never use a fragrance with coconut oil as the base. My cats would not stop licking my skin wherever I had applied it. (Yeah, cats like coconut oil. A lot. Who knew?)

Hmmmmm…. Glowing Beets or Kloverbox?

Joy

Glowing Beets is all beauty products. I like Kloverbox because it offers a great mix of beauty and lifestyle products. And best of all the products are always organic and cruelty-free. Also I’ve noticed since the new owners have taken over they put a lot of thought into each box! Just in their 4 months I have discovered some really great brands!

I subscribed to Glowing Beets earlier this year, and I remember really liking it. I only cancelled because I decided to go on a beauty box hiatus. While I don’t quite remember all that was in it, I’m almost positive they focused solely on beauty products, and didn’t include any non-beauty items (i.e. lifestyle, wellness, accessories, etc.). I definitely plan to re-subscribe to Glowing Beets next year after the holidays. I also plan to subscribe to Kloverbox to give them a try, as I’ve really liked what I’ve been seeing these past few months with the new owners in charge.

I can highly recommend glowing beets. Have not been disappointed in the boxes I have received so far.
