Good To Know: All blocks from Nerd Block will include a $10 voucher for the ShirtPunch store!
Arcade Block doesn't theme their boxes. But, you'll typically know at least 3 of the franchises featured before your box ships.
You'll also get this cartridge-themed info card. You'll find information on each item in your box on the front and back.
They now include $10 vouchers for both ShirtPunch and their new Nerd Block eStore. You can buy shirts, collectibles, and vinyl figures!
Gears of War Shirt - Value $15?
This month's shirt is themed after Gears of War. With Gears recently coming out, this was kind of expected. It definitely feels somewhat similar to the shirt in the Limited Edition Gears of War Crate from Loot Crate - I had to go doublecheck that it wasn't the same!
Like the other shirt, you get the Gears of War 4 logo on the back.
Nightwing Arkham Knight Figure - Value $20 on Amazon
You'll get one of three characters from Batman: Arkhma Knight: Nightwing, Robin, or Catwoman.
I got Nightwing - which would have been my choice of the three - so I'm happy!
Here's a look at the other characters in the line.
Nightwing is just having a moment, reflecting on his life of crime fighting...
In all seriousness - I'm loving this item, and couldn't have more fun with the pictures.
Five Nights at Freddy's 8-Bit Balloon Boy - Value $10?
This is an exclusive set for Nerd Block from McFarlane Toys - it's a contructable Balloon Boy from Five Nights at Freddy's. I based the value off of an similar, non-exclusive, character I found on Amazon.
Here's a look at the entire line of buildable characters.
It comes in a few, easy to construct, pieces.
Here's the constructed Balloon Boy. I wasn't familiar with this style of McFarlane toy, I was pretty surprised to see his brand on it, since the toys are typically hyper-detailed.
Zapper Enamel Pin - Value $5-10?
We get a pin this month that any fan of the original NES will recognize. This brings me back to those Duck Hunt days! I still remember building a couch fort and jumping out to shoot the ducks, those we much simplier times!
Star Fox Tube Socks - Value $10?
These exclusive socks feature our old friend, Star Fox!
A nice, simple, design that I'm excited to wear.
Super Mario Kart Poster - Value $5-10?
The last exclusive item features your favorite plumber and his gand - Super Mario Kart! This poster looks like it could be made to fit in a locker - it measures 22 x 10 inches.
Dropzone Beta Key - BONUS!
Finally, as a bonus, they dropped in a beta key to a new game - Dropzone. Since I'm not going to use it - I thought I'd post it here - first come, first served!
Verdict: I'm loving a figure and more retro items this month - and the shirt is right in time for Gears 4! Arcade Block is starting to become one of my preferred blocks of the Nerd Block family, this one builds on that momentum.
