Loot Crate unveiled an exclusive Gears of War 4 crate in anticipation of the upcoming game!

The standard version of this limited edition crate is still available for purchase – while supplies last.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The Box: Gears of War 4 Crate

The Cost: $74.99

The Products: $120-180+ value including :

  • Rev up an epic COG weapon replica
  • Find cover (even if you’re an Outsider) with a cool hoodie
  • Swap out your canteen for high quality glassware & more
  • Add the Gears of War 4 digital download to your bundle so you can play on Xbox One & Windows 10 on Launch Day!
  • BONUS: Vintage Del Pack and Xbox 360 Gears of War collection included with digital game pre-orders

Ship To: US

It comes with a really large post/information card. On the back, you’ll find details about every item in the box.

On the front, is this large poster.

Gears of War 4 Versus Shirt- Value $15?

Here is the design of the shirt- I think it’s a great design to show off the game. It’s simple and shows off the gun-chainsaws, which is pretty iconic for Gears of War.

On the back of the shirt, you’ll find the Gears of War 4 logo on the back of the neck.

Gears of War Phoenix Omen Hoodie – Valu $30?

This is a thinner, almost t-shirt hoodie, but with a soft fleece-like lining. It shows off the new Phoenix COG – which looks fantastic!

The back features a large photo of JD. The hoodie will work well for Fall, but it won’t be heavy enough for an east coast winter.

Gears of War Factions Socks – Value $10-15?

These socks feature emblems for the COG and Swarm. I’m like the design and color!

Gears of War Reversible Beanie – Value $10-15?

Moving into the colder months, a new beanie is ALWAYS welcome for me. This one is reversible – sport the Gears of War 4 logo or the Phoenix COG. I was happy that this also fit well – sometimes, these beanies won’t cover my ears entirely, this one does – and is also really soft.

Gears of War Pint Glass – Value $10?

What better way to start off your new Gears of War 4 experience than with a pint of the drink of your choice – stay in theme with this glass!

Gears of War 4 Piece Pin Set – Value $10+?

I might be undervaluing this set, but I’m always surprised with the cost of pins these days. Choose your allegiance with these pins – COG, Outsider, or Swarm.

Gears of War Hero Lancer 7″ Replica – Value $15?

This replica is awesome and much bigger than the replica from September’s Loot Gaming!

This 7″ replica has all the detail you’d want, including a stand. Somehow, my stand was missing a piece – luckily it was the bottom half which let me still display it.

If you really want to wow a Gears fan – Check out this 1:1 Lancer prop replica!

Settlement 5 Concept Art – Value $10?

This is a tin art piece that measures 10″ x 7.5″.

It’s got a lot of great artwork and detail of the settlement.

Welcome to Settlement 5 booklet

Included with that is a small booklet with details about the settlement. This was a nice little extra touch to make it feel like an in-game experience.

Pre-Order Bonus Pin

I preordered this box, which means I got some extra loot! The Lancer makes another appearance in the crate – this time in pin form!

Verdict: I think this is their best limited edition box to-date. I ordered the $130 version – which includes more than is seen here (including a digital copy of the game – this all is emailed on October 11th). The value of the items seen here is around $120 from my calculations – add the copy of the game ($60) and DLC and you’re over the $180 value that was advertised.

The standard version that costs $75 is still available if you’re interested!

Did you pick up a Gears of War 4 Crate?

  1. Along with Loot4Fangirls, this is another LE crate that LootCrate has rebilled a bunch of people for. Check your bank/card/PayPal accounts if you purchased this!

    • what did you? i just got rebilled too

  2. That seems real weak to me IMO. Nothing in that is really “limited edition” for the most part. I’m sure that stuff is unique but when I think “Limited Edition” I think of collectibles that will hold a long term value. I don’t see anything here that qualifies for that besides the replica.
