An info card was included in the box and detailed all the included items.
Kidrobot Shell Shock! TMNT Keychain - Value $7.99
My son was very happy to get a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle keychain. This vinyl keychain is of Shredder but there are many others to collect. He clipped this right to his backpack.
Gobble Gobble Mad Libs - Value $4.99
Mad Libs are always a lot of fun for kids. I have fond memories of doing these are sleepovers when I was younger. This Thanksgiving-themed version is perfect for a November box. My kids are a little young for Mad Libs so I’ll tuck this away for future use.
Adopt a Pet Monster T-Shirt - Value $15.00?
This short sleeve shirt is a Retro Pop Box exclusive. I don’t remember the Pet Monster fad though the information card states they were one of the few plush toys marketed specifically for boys in 1986. This shirt doesn’t hit the mark for me.
TV Dinner Post-It Pad - Value $3.00?
This Post-It pad is a Retro Pop Box exclusive and I think it’s great! I love the retro vibe and usefulness of it as well.
Thundercats Patch - Value $1.00?
I vaguely remember the Thundercats animated show but didn’t recognize the patch. Luckily the information card clued me in to what it was from.
Verdict: The value this month was about $32 with my estimations, but I consistently find that the box doesn’t reach the value they claim the box will contain ($45) which I find disappointing. If you like 1980s memorabilia this box might be a good fit for you. This month my favorites were the Mad Libs and Post-It pad.
