Deluxe False Eyelashes with Glue - Value $8

It's worth mentioning that this packaged arrived a few days ago - so plenty of time if you wanted to use these for a more dramatic look with your Halloween costume.

I'm saving these for the next time I need a dramatic eye look! (And I really want to try the new magnetic false eyelashes, too!)

Lipstick in Red Square - Value $12

This is a BOLD red! I assumed it would be a creamy red lipstick based on the description, but it ended up going on somewhat sheer and pink! (Swatched in the last photo.)

Glitter in Abracadabra - Value $7

This looks very glittery in the container but when applied it didn't have much shimmer. (I may need to really pile it on to get the glitter look.)

The Fix Glitter Adhesive - Value $8

I really appreciate that they included this with the glitter!

It's a wax base, so it's not very sticky to the touch, but it does a great job of keeping the glitter in place.

Here is the lipstick swatched and the glitter applied:

Who knew the lipstick would end up being a wearable shade for me?

Verdict: This box has a value of $35. I think that's fantastic for a $15.95 beauty box that sends full-size vegan beauty products with free shipping. When they originally launched this box, they advertised a $40 value, so this falls short of that expectation, but I'm still happy with the value. (They've removed that messaging now.)

I think this is a great way to try out Medusa's Make-Up at a deep discount, and it's definitely pushing me out of my comfort zone!

I have had Medusas Makeup for years. Even prior to their box. There colors are not leftovers they want to get rid of but regular stock. The lip colors are more sheer than they look as are their cheek colors. These are actually quality products.

I wish the colors were more wearable with medusa’s make up subscription box. I’ve just unsubscribed from it. I had the subscription for 3 months and the most wearable thing was the red lipstick. So far I’ve received green and yellow eyeshadow and orange lip gloss. It’s really a shame because the quality is top notch. I’m just kinda bummed that it feels like you are just getting overstock of the colors that don’t sell well.

I am 52 and I love this subscription box! Love going out of my comfort zone and trying bold colours in a casual subtle way. I love the anticipation of waiting to see what next!! Not thrilled with the quality of the lipstick though . I am used to liquid lipstick that stays on all day, which this doesn’t!!and the colour pay off is very weak but it’s still fun!

I’m kinda shocked about the actual color of that lipstick. I would have been very disappointed if I had received it. I’ve been planning on subscribing to this box, but that actually gives me pause.

I’m curious why you’re shocked over the color of the lipstick. It just looks like a red lipstick to me, but actually goes on as a pink color. Maybe I’m missing something. 🙂

Ohhhh, I’ve never heard of the magnetic lashes until now. I would LOVE to try those out, but there is no way I can justify spending $69.00 on lashes! Here’s hoping another company will soon come out with their own brand with a lower price point. I really, really, really want to try them out!

That’s why. It looks like a beautiful red lipstick, it’s called Red Square, the description on the website says “This bright and beautiful lipstick is a Luxurious Blend of Natural Waxes, Color Rich Pigment, Creamy, Soft and Nourishing.”, (they don’t have descriptions of individual colors, just the lipsticks as a whole), and then it turns out to be a really light, sheer pink. That’s a sign of low quality, and makes me leery of trusting and buying any of their lipsticks, or any of their products, really.

I subscribed a few months ago and cancelled only bc the makeup is too young for me (I’m 58) but I loved the 2 boxes I got for gifting. The customer service is set per bit so if anyone is considering this sub, go for it it’s great!

I meant for it to say the customer service is superb.
