Olive & Shea Body Lotion (7.5 oz.) - Value $15.99
This lemongrass scented body lotion was thicker than I expected (water is the first ingredient listed) and very moisturizing. It left my skin with a pleasant lemony scent. I’m going to keep this by the kitchen sink to use on my hands after washing dishes.
Pit Paste (4 oz.) - Value $10.99
This natural deodorant is solid and needs to be warmed up between your fingers before rubbing onto your armpits. I prefer my natural deodorants to be in stick form if possible so they are quicker and easier to apply. I did find the deodorant fairly effective, but the lavender scent was just too overpowering for me personally.
Natural Beauty Facial Serum (1 oz.) - Value $29.99
This facial serum is a multi-tasker. It can be used as a facial cleanser (rub on skin, cover face with a hot, wet washcloth, keep the washcloth in place for 5-10 minutes, then wipe clean) or as a moisturizer once or twice a day. The serum is a deep rich golden color and contains hazelnut and avocado oils among many others. I found it absorbed quickly and didn’t leave a greasy residue behind.
Natural Beauty Restorative Facial Cream (1 oz.) - Value $35.99
When I unscrewed the jar I was startled to see that it was about half empty. The jar says it contains 1 oz. of cream and I believe that it does, but it comes across as skimpy because they place it in a 2 oz. jar. This cream intended to be used at night wasn’t as rich as I like my nightly creams to be. I think this would be better for someone who doesn’t have very dry skin.
Lotion Bar - Value $9.99
I’m a fan of solid lotion bars. I think they’re great for giving massages and I love to travel with them as well since they’re spill-proof, small and light. This one has a pretty apple blossom scent that I like very much. The bar is insanely moisturizing and since a little goes a long way I think the value is fantastic. The cute tin is nice touch!
Verdict: I enjoyed my Heaven’s Honey box this month, but I have to say I prefer when they feature two different companies rather than just one. As always Heaven’s Honey introduces me to small, new-to-me brands that are making high-quality skin care products across the country. My favorite products this month were the lemongrass body lotion, apple blossom lotion bar, and facial serum. The value this month was over $102 which is amazing!
