October's theme is "You're a Magnet for Abundance." I'm not too sure about that, but hopefully, this month's box will help...
This is the info card that was included in this month's package, detailing the contents.
This month's box had a pretty big issue that I need to mention up front. This broken wad of glass and plastic and herbs and oil at one time was:
Behatilife Month + Abundance Oil - Value $16
It's really too bad this happened because my box smelled amazing! It's a mixture of bergamot, basil, and thyme essential oils, and is useful for helping to attract abundance in meditation. Unfortunately, it looks like the bottles were quite delicate, and apparently, this breakage was a widespread problem for subscribers. Goddess Provisions did make it right, however, and details on just how they did this are below, following the other items that were in this shipment.
Crystal Bar Soap in Enchanting Love - Value $6.30
This soap smells great! I can really smell the hint of apple, which is so perfect for this time of year. In the middle of the bar is a moss agate stone, which is another tool used to attract prosperity.
Moondani Natural Breath Mist - Value $8.50
This is a first! I don't think I've ever received breath spray in a subscription box. This is made with natural, organic, non-GMO ingredients that are natural breath fresheners, like cardamom and ginger. It works well and tastes better than commercial breath sprays.
Florapothecarie Chocolate Mud Mask - Value $20
As much as I loved smelling cocoa the whole time I was using this mask, I have to admit it dried out my skin quite a bit. I have pretty sensitive skin, though, so I'm sure it works wonderfully for people with normal skin.
Evolution Salt Tealight Candle Holder - Value $12.48
Sorry to be on photo overload with this candle holder, but it's just so beautiful, I'm surprised I'm not still in there photographing it! I love pink salt, and as a bonus, this piece helps clear electromagnetic pollution radiated from your phone and other electronics. Nice!
Navitas Naturals Superfood Bar - Value $2.29
I try to be very careful about eating healthfully, and although this bar was a little higher in carbs that I like, I couldn't resist the superfood content. It was delicious! And it definitely was not too sweet, just a hint of maple.
Break at Home Geode - Listed Value $10
Aren't geodes so fun? I broke this one with my ten-year-old son, and we both thought it was really cool, inside and out.
That's it for the items that came in my package, but because of the broken oil, I received two additional packages. Regular subscribers would receive one or the other, not both, but they sent them both to me so that I could show what steps they took to make up for the breakage.
100% Pure Gemmed Lip Gloss – Value $25
Rose Quartz Sphere – Value $15
These two items were sent to new October subscribers, as they are both repeats from the August box.
Here is a swatch of the lip gloss.
These two items were sent to monthly renewing subscribers.
Chill by Frisky Fish Essentials - Value $14
This essential oil roller is a blend of peppermint and lavender, and it's good for reducing headaches and anxiety.
These cashews were also in the August box, but I don't think getting repeats of cashews is really a problem!
Verdict: Goddess Provisions is awesome, and I am sorry this happened to them, but the lengths they went to in order to make it up to subscribers really speaks volumes about them. They always have fun and useful items, and the value is always really fantastic. This month would have been another amazing one if it hadn't been for the broken oil, but I think they really were trying to include something very special!
