FittedTot is a children’s clothing rental subscription. They offer clothing for size 3 months through 5T.
When you sign up, you answer some basic questions (boy/girl, sizing, season, etc). Then you receive a box with 3 play outfits, 1 premium outfit or dress, and 1 pair of pajamas. All the clothing comes to you pre-washed in Dreft (hypoallergenic detergent).
One thing I really like is that there’s no fees or consequences if something happens and the clothing gets damaged or stained. They ask that you send it back and they’ll try to get the stain out or repair it. If they can’t, it gets recycled.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Collared Polo Shirt/Check Shorts set – Cost to Keep: $18
This set is so cute! It’s way preppy-er than I usually dress Gideon in but I love the grey and mint and I can see myself pairing the checked shorts with many of his other shirts!
Blue Sport Tee – Cost to Keep: $4.50
Tee shirts are pretty much my favorite thing to dress Gideon in, so I can always use some extras. I love this color blue!
Cream Drawstring Shorts – Costs to Keep: $6
I’m not sure I’m sold on the concept of cream bottoms (for toddlers, or children…); it kind of feels like asking for a disaster. But these are cute and I’m determined to try them out with an outfit before deciding they’re not for us! Pushing me out of my baby style comfort zone.
Bow Tie Onesie – Cost to Keep: $6
These are so cute together. I love it! I also think that the onesie will be super adorable with a cardigan or jacket over it in these cooler months.
Black Drawstring Short – Cost to Keep: $6
I’m so happy to see these black shorts! I was thinking the other day that we need a pair of these for him. I love the little cargo-esque pockets on the side.
Squid Tee – Cost to Keep: $6.47
I think this tee is my favorite item in the box (and it goes great with these shorts!). Red is one of my favorite colors to dress Gideon in and I dig the squid design.
Green Cargo Shorts – Cost to Keep: $4.97
These are great shorts. I love the design and they are super versatile. I love how it looks with this squid tee, and I know I have a lot of things in his closet that will look great with these.
Dino PJ Set – Cost to Keep: $7.47
These are adorable baby pajamas. I love the geometric designs on the dino on the shirt. I also like the colors. However, I dress Gideon in long sleeves and full pj pants year-round for night time because we keep our house cold at night.
Here is my son, Gideon, wearing the squid tee and the green cargo shorts. He has some room to grow in both, and they seem comfortable. He wasn’t too happy with me at this moment I was taking the picture, but I got it! Haha.
Verdict: I really liked this month’s FittedTot box; I think the style was well-chosen for us. I wish more items had been pants or long sleeves because it’s definitely getting to be Autumn/cooler here, but some days are warm and you can always wear hoodies or jackets over t-shirts. I also think that the prices were better than they listed in my last box.
I think a rental service is a smart idea for babies and kids because they grow so quickly. The only thing to consider is the value; I’m not sure I’d recommend keeping them unless you find the pricing reasonable for that item and you really love it. I think the best way to get the value from this box is to swap out boxes and get as many new rental items in each month as is possible. However, since they sent us this one box for review, I unfortunately can’t really speak on how their turnaround time is. Their website says they send out your next shipment once they receive your items, which does add some time between boxes compared to how Le Tote (a women’s clothing rental company) does it, which is sending out the new items as soon as your package’s return tracking says it’s on its way.
