Birchbox Man is a monthly grooming and lifestyle subscription box for men. Each month, you'll receive 3-4 sample size items to try along with another lifestyle item that you can select. The selection process opens about a month before shipping and, typically, allows you to pick 1 of 3 selection items.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Baladeo Battery Charger S2200 - Value $18

Each month, you'll be able to pick 1 of 3 selection items for your box. This month, I chose the Baladeo on-the-go charger. It's not too bulky, which is important for me if I'm going to carry it in my pocket. The only thing I don't like is that I'd have to also carry phone charger cord as well, but I know it's probably asking a lot for it to not be bulky, hold a good charge, and have an attached iPhone charge cable.

Brickell Face Moisturizer - .5 OZ sample - Value $4.38 based on 4 OZ price

My first product is from Brickell. The is made with aloe vera, shea butter, and green tea - it had a kick to it too! It hydrates well, but almost had a minty scent that really woke me up - I liked it.

Jour d'automne Texture Styling Creme - .25 OZ sample - Value $1,50 based on 5 OZ price

The next item I received is a product that I don't use at all. This is a hair styling creme - it actually smells really good, but I don't use hair products.

Kiehl's Oil Eliminator Face Wash - 1 OZ sample - Value $3.14 based on 6.8 OZ price

Fortunately, the next item is something I use all the time - a new face cleanser to try! This is from Kiehl's and is supposed to remove oil from your face - I need this! I don't know if I can describe it well, but it has a nice clean scent - nothing really stands out. This is Oil-Free, Paraben-Free, and Sulfate-Free.

Hudson Made Morning Shift Body Bar - Value ? (No sample size listed)

The final item in the box will perfectly combine with the Brickell moisturizer to wake you up in the morning. The "Morning Shift" soap bar combines rosemary, peppermint, and eucalyptus to give you a little lift in your morning shower!

Verdict: While I'll never go and seek out a new product to try, I don't mind having them delivered to me - so Birchbox Man really works for me. I typically like trying out different facial products and soaps - so this month's box is near perfect for me! There's also really good value here when you add in the month's selection item, so it's a win all around for me this month.

Matt

This looks better than the box I received. I got two cologne samples, sun tan lotion, and a body wash I received a year ago.

I think I would have preferred this men’s box over my women’s box! (Why don’t we get cool gadgets…?)

Aww, one of the awesome things about subscription boxes is trying new things! IDK but you could rock some hair product so maybe Liz can help you try it out?
