Exclusive Bakery Charms Chocolate Bar Necklace - $20?

Is there a scientific theory that says cuteness increases as size decreases? I think there should be. Just look at this mini chocolate bar! Everything about this is adorable. Even the way the tinfoil folds is realistic! This is an exclusive piece but Bakery Charms sells some other adorable ones like the Chocolate Easter Bunny Necklace or Chocolate Chip Cookie Earrings.

This is the big ticket item and it does not disappoint.

Chocolate Bar Notepad - $2?

This is a chocolate bar shaped notepad with unlined pages. It's about the size of my hand and would be perfect for jotting down notes or ideas.

Chocolate Bar Eraser - $1?

I seriously thought this was edible when I first opened the box. It's going straight into my little sister's back-to-school gift pile!

See's Candies Chocolate Lollipop - $0.62

I have not had See's Candies in a long time and this brings back old memories! This is a chocolate flavored lollipop and tastes delicious, obviously. It's a large lollipop too. I took over half an hour to finish it!

Verdict: This box is truly a sweet surprise! The attention to detail on the necklace is astounding and it really looks realistic. The estimated value is around $24. All necklace prices on Bakery Charms' website start at $20 so you get the cost of the box from that alone. Plus, there's no shipping fee. I think this would be an adorable subscription for people who love sweets, miniatures, or both!

Love the idea behind this! I collect all things in chocolate or dessert shapes (and my first book was all chocolate & dessert cartoons!), so I was excited to see this.

Unfortunately, agree with others that the value is not here. I know something about alibaba from Amazon forums, but I don’t know if they sell charms this cheap. However, since it’s small and simple, it would have to be sterling for me to buy it.

This particular charm is made from polymer clay and what looks like real tinfoil. Hope that helps!

Thanks, Nancy, that is helpful. I meant the whole thing, chain, too, should be sterling, even if the charm is something else…sterling isn’t that expensive yet, is it? Or it shouldn’t be

Thank you so much for the review! Didn’t know a subscription box like this existed and just subscribed!

How adorable is that necklace?

This box is a joke. That necklace would be less than a dime via alibaba where this was probably sourced. Overall this box probably cost less than a dollar to make with a bunch of random garbage and is being sold for $20. harsh but true. And this is a sweet surprises box which means people expect treats with the OCCASIONAL useless eraser or whatever. Harsh but this is highway robbery.

Harsh but not true.

These charms are not from Alibaba. They are handcrafted in clay by the artist that runs the store.

I’m not sure why people try to compare value for handmade with manufactured in China.

I never heard of Alibaba, but have seen some really cheap charms at a recent craft fair. There is a huge difference in quality! My daughters received the subscription box as a gift and we were all impressed with everything in the box! They are excited every month when they get a new box and all their friends can’t wait to see what they got!

Oooh this is really cute! I wish this was something baked though instead of candy, but that’s just the cupcake obsessed in me talking.
