The package arrived with an info card. The Sunday Funday box was curated by bloggers Fifty Shades of Snail and Chistinahello. I follow Fifty Shades of Snail for her very thorough K-beauty reviews so I was particularly excited for this box.

Re:cipe Slowganic Cleanser Mini Trio – $3

This is a trio of cleanser samplers from Re:cipe. I’ve tried the Adlay and Lemon before and was excited to try the Green Tea type this time around.

The cleansers are handmade and have a cool marshmallow texture. They do not foam up but they do wash off cleanly and make my skin feel soft and clean! You can reseal the tops for multiple uses too.

Neogen Code 9 Glacial Magic Pore Mask – $25

This bubbling mask is made of natural glacial marine soil, Canadian carbonated water, and West Coast colloidal clay. The paste begins to bubble after contact with my face and continues doing so until you wash it off. It’s really fun! Compared to the Elizavecca Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask I’ve tried before, this one bubbles less and washes off more easily (but still requires some heavy duty rinsing). I would recommend rinsing this off in the shower.

Prelab Toning Peeling Tap – $20

I received this before from a Beauteque BB Bag. This is a gentle exfoliant that helps maintain smooth and soft skin while never stripping or irritating it. The canister contains 15 capsules. Each capsule has a spongey pad that you use to spread essence around the face. They are so easy to use and great for traveling, too. I don’t see a difference in the short term, but I know gentle exfoliation is great for keeping acne at bay.

I’m Meme I’m Tint Balm in Rose Burgundy – $7

This is a sheer rose pink tint balm. It has a light balmy texture and gives my lips a nice sheen.

It matches my skin tone really well!

Holika Holika Lazy & Easy Gudetama Sheet Mask – $3 (on sale for $2)

This is a sheet mask with Gudetama printed onto the cotton. The fit isn’t great– the texture is a little stiff while the eye and mouth holes are on the small side. The yellow color makes me look really sickly, but Gudetama’s dopey face makes up for it.

Mediheal Dress Code Mask in Red (Ginseng Care) – $3

This mask looks like a masquerade ball! It contains ginseng extracts and helps to brighten, firm, and nourish the skin.

Not only does it fit well but the essence feels great without being sticky! I love it.

Verdict: This is a great box for pampering yourself on the weekends (like the name suggests!). I enjoyed the products I’ve tried before and also discovered some new favorites like the I’m Tint Balm in Rose Burgundy. The total retail value is $61, which is less than advertised probably because they lowered some of the selling prices. Sadly the Sunday Funday box is sold out now but Memebox is always coming out with new curations!

  1. I received my first meme box today and it is Great! I purchased the peelin fantastic box. It had Ladykin aqua exfoliator for body full size, Manyo Factory Active Refresh peeling gel full size, Esfolio foot peeling mask full size and Etude House lip care scrub full size. Everything is great. I have really dry skin so this is the perfect box for me. I also purchased 7 sheet masks that were on sale. I can’t wait for new boxes.

  2. This box looks awesome! Great review! Does MSA post about new LE Memeboxes being offered? I know that any time Birchbox rolls out a new LE box, MSA does a brief post about it so readers are made aware of their chance to actually purchase it, instead of just seeing a review after the fact. But, I didn’t see that same treatment for Memebox (apologies if it was there and I just missed it somehow).

  3. The Dress Code mask could be used for Halloween if it was safe to leave on for hours. Probably not though.

    Enjoy your reviews.

  4. I got one of those sheet masks in black from Memebox and it even had little rhinestones on the face mask. Very fancy!

  5. I also purchased this box! I haven’t had a chance to try anything yet, but I’m really looking forward to it. I think I have purchased virtually every curated Memebox that’s been out since I jumped on the Memebox bandwagon earlier this year. 🙂 I like that their boxes always have something new to try, and they’re at a really great value!

I just finished purchasing the Benton Box 2.0, Tutti Frutii Box, and the Pore-Ever Young Box. I had to take advantage of their 3x points offer on boxes, since boxes are typically excluded from most promos, plus I received a 15% discount code so I couldn’t pass those up!

    • I love the Benton Fermentation Essence that’s in Benton Box 2.0! I hope you like those boxes 🙂

    • how did you get the 15% discount code…did it apply to the boxes? I am on the verge of going gaga over Memebox but got an email about a new KBeauty box launching this month called BomiBox…it is SO hard to choose! I expect the BomiBox to be awesome since it is just starting up.

      • I got the code because I’m a Gold member. They send out different offers every month based on the different levels you are. And it did apply to boxes, which is really rare, because usually promos don’t apply to boxes. In combination with their current offer of 3x points for box purchases, I couldn’t pass it up. I usually pace myself with their boxes (maybe I’ll get one every 2 weeks on payday) since I usually want them all!

BomiBox sounds like it could be a good box. If I remember correctly, they said it’ll have around 8 full-size (and/or deluxe sized?) products in each box. They could give Beauteque & Pink Seoul Plus some good competition if that’s the case. I’m on a no-buy of sub boxes for the rest of the year, but I’ll definitely be keeping my eye on this one for next year.

      • You get a 10 percent off promo code on your first purchase if you sign up for their newsletter.

  6. I got one of those dress code masks before. Felt so silly in it! Although less silly than the animal face masks, I guess.

Exfoliation definitely helps keep my skin in great shape (and even allows me to use facial oils, even though I have oily skin).
