Gwynnie Bee is a clothing rental subscription service for women sizes 10-32. I have been intrigued with their concept for a while because I think plus-sized clothing is sorely underserved in the subscription box market. I have been having a lot of fun with this subscription!

Check out our Plus Size Clothing Subscription reviews to see all the different subscription box options!

Gwynnie Bee kindly invited me to try their service for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

ALICE & YOU - Dress In Baroque Rose Print

This is me right after church, and I actually felt really cute in this dress! It was easy to wear and comfortable, but looked pretty good, I thought! I felt stylish yet modest.

RAGA - Eloise Jumpsuit In Floral Print

I just had to try this jumpsuit for some reason, and it wound up being so wrong for me on so many levels. It's just completely wrong for my shape, first of all, and I really, really wish it had wide, flowy legs instead of tapered. Also, what you may not be able to tell is that despite a little snap along the "neckline," the front of this was falling completely open. I am holding it in place, firmly, with my hand on my hip. I couldn't wear this one, obviously. I am sure whoever can pull this off looked fabulous in it, but it wasn't for me. I liked the print, though.

RACHEL ANTONOFF - Rico Top In Tutti Frutti

MELISSA MCCARTHY SEVEN7 - Bootcut Jean In Largo Wash

I loved this whole outfit, and I felt super cute in it! I was dubious about the Rachel Antonoff top, but it turned out to be really cute on, and the style reminded me of the styles from the early 80's. I liked the color scheme, too. The jeans were slightly too long on me, but I thought they were flattering and comfortable.

COREY - Trista Dress in Jane Floral Print

I have had this dress for almost the whole month because I never want to stop wearing it. I would buy it, but it's pretty expensive for some reason, so after my nephew's baptism this weekend it has to go back. It's just so cute and easy and summery! I love it!

ALICE & YOU - V-neck Dress in Spanish Floral

I had such high hopes for this dress, but I looked and felt gigantic in it. It's just really unflattering on me. It's also very sheer in real life. You can hardly see it, but it has this sexy lace-up detailing on the sides... Or at least, what I thought would be sexy...

ISABEL + ALICE - NYC Belted Shift Dress

I liked this dress. I thought the print was kind of wacky, but in a good way. It worked!

Verdict: I love Gwynnie Bee! This subscription is absolutely so much fun! This month almost everything was a big hit or a big miss, but that's okay because just about everything goes back anyway. It's a great opportunity to try out styles that I might otherwise never even try.

Crazy, you look great in everything, to me… I can’t believe you have such a sweet smile even when you aren’t comfortable… I’m a fan! Thanks for the in depth reviews!

Great looks as always! I’m wearing the NYC skyline print dress tomorrow 🙂

I got the Alice & You for $16 (I think they had fat-fingered the At Home price) and I like it but it IS pretty sheer. The Corey dress is so cute on everyone but they are so proud of their stuff! 🙂

The Trista dress is EVERYTHING…maybe reconsider keeping it?

The Rico top and Trista dress are super cute and look great on you!

You are brave to put in the jumpsuit. There is nothing someone could give me to put on a jumpsuit! ? I am convinced that a jumpsuit only looks great on tall, slender women. That being said. I don’t hate that jumpsuit on you. It doesn’t look bad in the photo. But of course anything that you have to hold together to keep yourself from being exposed and anything yoy don’t feel pretty in are not keepers.

My least favorite look is actually the NYC shift dress. I think the pattern, with the skyline on the top and bottom draws your eye to the almost empty space if the middle. And that tends to be an area many do not want focus on. I just don’t see how whoever designed the layout of the pattern on that dress thought it was a good idea to zero in on the middle of the dress.

All in all this is a decent amount of clothes for the 3 at a time option. (Why is it $20 more to go from one to two items a month but $26 to go from two to three? Ususally the prices go gradually down per item the more you get…). Man, I wanted to say something else but got distracted by baby and now my mind us jelly…oh, well. Thanks for the review Anna.
