Chococurb is an artisan chocolate box. They have three subscription ‘sizes’ so to speak: their mini, which is what I am reviewing today, the nano (review coming soon!) and their regular subscription.

Their mini box is a newer addition and they promise three chocolate products per month.  They also have a shop, so you can repurchase the chocolates that you love. Look at those luscious chocolate bars – all nice and perfectly unmelted…some subs could take a page from Chococurb for sure!

Dolcetta – Dark Chocolate Coconut Bar – $5.50

I’ve had the opportunity to try several Dolcetta Bars since I’ve started down the subscription box addiction path. I always really enjoy them – they are high quality with unique flavor combinations that just work well! This dark chocolate and coconut bar was no exception – I really enjoyed it.

Cacao Sampaka Milk Chocolate with Bergamot – $9.99

I just recently had my first chance to try bergamot when I was in Belize on vacation, and I really enjoyed it. The flavor was slightly orange flavored, but I could definitely tell it wasn’t an orange I was eating.

This chocolate bar was excellent. It was a nice departure from the usual chocolate and orange formulation, but still close enough that it worked really well.

Naive – Honey Organic 68% – $7.99

This chocolate bar was really excellent. I loved the dark chocolate mixed with honey – it gave it a nice lightly sweet flavor that worked really well with the usual bitter taste of dark chocolate.

Verdict: I always really love my Chococurb shipments – who wouldn’t love getting artisan chocolates shipped to your door? Every box I’ve received from Chococurb has come with the chocolate intact, with only a few small truffles that are a bit soft. This is a huge accomplishment for a chocolate subscription box – it’s pretty rare that I get perfectly intact chocolate bars, due to my location.

I think this is an excellent subscription for any chocolate lover. The value of this box is about $23.48, so it definitely exceeds the cost of the box. If you love chocolate, or you have a chocolate loving friend that you need a gift for…I highly recommend Chococurb.

Have you given the Chococurb Mini a try?

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane…the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane…but she’s always looking for a new subscription to try!
