yogi-surprise-aug-theme

This month's theme is "Back to Balance." Also, on the right is some info about their monthly giveaway: Every month, Yogi surprise sends one subscriber to a yoga retreat somewhere awesome!

This is the info card that was included, detailing the items in this month's package.

Yogi Surprise also includes a sequence card every month that suggests a yoga sequence to go along with the month and the theme. This month's sequence is also called "Back to Balance."

yogi-surprise-aug-band

Yogitoes Organic Headband - Value $4

I have a few headbands from Yogitoes, and they work pretty well. I think the width of the band is really helpful in keeping the hair out of my eyes! My hair is just pretty fine in general and so headbands usually don't work out for me. This is really a pretty one, though!

yogi-surprise-aug-scrub

yogi-surprise-aug-scrub-2

Root & Willow Lemon Geranium Lava Scrub - Value $18

This is a really luxurious scrub. I used it this morning and it left my skin feeling smooth and silky. I also love the smell of volcanic products (ash, lava, etc.)! I didn't like the smell of geranium until recently, and I actually think it smells amazing in this scrub, mixed with the lava and lemon scents!

yogi-surprise-aug-balm

Soothing Touch Narayan Balm - Value $6.79

I didn't particularly have any sore muscles when I received this balm, but I was feeling pretty stressed at the time, so I tried this balm for that supposed benefit. To be honest, I don't feel like it made any difference. It has a strong smell that I can't quite put my finger on, but it's not unpleasant. Here's hoping it works better on sore muscles!

yogi-surprise-aug-oil

Valentina's Naturals "Soul Detox" Perfume Oil - Value $14

I love the hint of peppermint in this essential oil blend roller. It's made from coconut and jojoba oils, plus all natural essential oils.

yogi-surprise-aug-bar

Navitas Naturals Superfood+ Bar - Value $2.29

This snack bar is loaded with superfoods and other good things, so even though it has a bit of added sugar (total sugar is 9g), I tried it anyway. Super tangy! It was pretty good. It might be true that many people can't palate the sharp flavor of goji berries without some kind of sweetener.

yogi-surprise-aug-patch

Tiger Balm Patch Pain Relieving Patches - Value $7.29

No one in my house had any pain relief to speak of when I got this box, but fortunately I have tried this product before. It works as well as any other topical pain reliever, and it's a thoughtful inclusion in this box.

yogi-surprise-aug-superfood

yogi-surprise-aug-capsules

Stamba Superfoods Travel - Value $45!

Wow, this is an expensive supplement! I am really impressed with the list of ingredients, such as reishi and chaaga mushrooms, camu camu, cordyceps, and maca! It also has an enzyme blend! So it might actually be worth the cost, although 48 capsules is only a 12 day supply. I just took my first dose this morning, so I don't know if I will be bursting with health 12 days from now, but I sure hope so.

Spoiler Alert!

yogi-surprise-aug-spoiler

Next month's package will come with an aromatherapy spray from Namaste Ninja and an organic matcha from Buddha Teas. Nice!

Verdict: This was another awesome box from Yogi Surprise! The superfood capsules put it over the top for me this month. I loved the scrub, too! The value this month totals around $98, which is incredible for a $45 box. I'm a big fan of Yogi Surprise!

I use the balm on my neck and shoulders when I have a tension headache. Not magic but it does help.

I ended up with two full size bottles of that Stamba stuff after a shipping snafu with their New Year’s limited edition box. I took all of them, so every day for over a month, and didn’t notice any difference at all…

Interesting – I was intrigued about them but I don’t take pills so was going to try to use them in other form but maybe not worth it if you didn’t notice any difference.

They’re basically just food ingredients in powdered form shoved into vegetarian capsules, rather than actual pharmaceuticals. Even though you take four at once, there is very little of each ingredient in there due to the sheer number.
