This review is of the G.O.A.T. Box.
This is the information sheet that was included in my package, detailing the contents.
On the reverse side is a workout designed by competitive weightlifter Gracie Vanasse. Sometimes they include a recipe here, but this time it's a workout. It looks pretty intense!
Perchmount - Value $19.99
Oh my, I don't know if I could handle seeing a video of myself working out! That's what this little device is for within the context of Strength Crate - perfecting your form! That's really neat! I think I might use mine to just watch things on my phone, though.
Chike Powdered Peanut Butter - Value $6.95
I think this is like that PB2 stuff, as it has less fat and calories that regular peanut butter. I'm a little afraid to try it, though. I tried the coffee shakes that Strength Crate sent from Chike and it tasted pretty bad. I will probably see if one of my friends or neighbors would like to try this.
WOD Repair Lotion - Essentials Kit - Value $20
It's been a while since I've developed a callous from working out! I do, however, get new and bigger callouses all the time from playing the guitar, so I decided to give this kit a little try. The pumice works as expected, and then I used the rapid repair lotion to heal and soften, which is exactly what it did. The other tube is their original maintenance lotion, which I will probably try next.
Driven Whey (Vanilla) - Value $45.99
I have tried this whey protein powder before, and the vanilla variety is pretty yummy. I'm not really trying to build muscles right now, but my husband loves whey, so I'm sure he will use all of this eventually.
Sports Bra by Born Primitive - Value $45
This sports bra is excellent! It's supportive but not restrictive, and for some reason I feel like the top strap in the back is the key. Plus it's really cute, I think it's reversible, and it comes with optional cups if you want them. Cool!
Verdict: Strength Crate is so hardcore! I would have loved this subscription back when I was doing CrossFit! I have come to expect a pretty high quality of items as well as high value with this subscription, and their consistency is much appreciated. This month's value totals about $138, which is great for the $86 cost. I think Strength Crate is a great investment for anyone looking to get the most out of their intense workouts!
