Rachel Zoe Box of Style Fall 2016 Box Spoiler + Coupon!

Love it. People saying it doesn’t seem on trend. Black/white cape. Classic, neutral and literally always on trend. I like the idea of black and white with a pop of color somewhere for Fall. I can also see that price tag being legit. You’re pretty much paying for that designer label, the quality of fabric and the durability. Idk I’m a fashion design student and going to a store to buy quality wool blend fabric alone and then buying all the materials and for the time of making it, I’d probably price it around what they have it at.

I must have missed this earlier! I kept looking at my emails for the spoiler and never saw it. I just got charged for by BOS so I finally searched for it. Was hoping for more spoilers by now, but this one is great IMO!
I love the colors, so classic and with go with everything. Especially since most of my clothes are black/gray/navy or solid colors. I can’t wait to get it!! I have several slouchy cardigans that I love for fall/winter but no capes yet. I’ve tried a couple but they were huge on me, hoping this one is more flattering.
And I also agree about the BOS “exclusives”, hoping this isn’t the case with this either. To me they seem to be cheaper knock offs of the real thing, probably due to such mass production, I don’t know. I haven’t even worn the jewelry from the last box, just isn’t my style. And while I super excited about caftan cover up it just didn’t wow me in person.

After coming back to look at this almost daily for two weeks, I finally caved and re-subbed. I like the simplicity of the black/white, and where I live (AZ) something like this is pretty much the only outerwear you need most of the winter. I like that it seems pretty lightweight and drapey, which means multiple styling options. Now I’m ready for another spoiler!

This cape will be perfect with my Spring wardrobe. It must be an L.A. thing as most people living east of California view fall colors as green, golds, rusts, reds, browns, burgundy, wine….. I love the came. I am petite, but I think there are numerous ways to wear it. I have so much black and white…Olivia Palermo’s black and white awning stripe pants from her spring/summer collection…perfect. I think I will try to style it with the seam at the shoulder and then get a black and white twist around the front. Also, invisible bands to create a rose…. So many ways to style this…but plan to wear it with my Spring/Summer capsule all over Europe next April and May.

I absolutely love this and signed right back up since I cancelled for the summer box. I’m 22 weeks pregnant and this cape couldn’t be more perfect for my growing belly and in the winter for breast feeding. I think the style is really cool and timeless. It will go with everything! Her fall box is always by favorite!

If it is her teams pick I trust it will be “everything!” I know everyone has to give it a thumbs up and it must look good on the majority or it isn’t in the box. Looks fab on you!

I agree on the quality of the jewelry in the last box – it was definitely lacking. And totally concur about the exclusives…”sub box exclusive” has really come to mean cheaper “outlet” version of the actual designer item.

FYI ladies – my necklace from the June box broke the second time I put it on and the button was starting to fall off my turban. I let BOS know and sent them pics. They are going to replace the items, but I have to send the necklace back before they do and I have to pay for shipping.

I’m starting to get wary of items made exclusively for a box, they just don’t seem to hold up well. I hope this cape proves me wrong.

Ha! Nice, I bought a black and white zig zag striped cape back in summer of 2015 in Scotland, I was that cold I needed another layer. Who knew I’d still be stylin’ a year on! ?

Will there be other colors from their fall line especially the gray and tan?

My friend that knows I sub to BOS, just texted me laughing about this cape and how it is so not my style. This is the first hero item that’s not for me. Hoping for a good winter spoiler to bring me back in.
I swear, every spoiler I love, everyone else on this forum hates and vice versa.

Love this. Rachel Zoe has done it again. Most of my wardrobe is black and white so this will work with everything I own!!

I’m torn about the cape. I’ve never owned a cape. I’ll try it on with black skinny jeans or leggings with black boots. Hope the other stuff is awesome.

Well…. As I have a shawl almost identical to that that I got at Target a few years ago I will have to say that is completely unexciting for me. And the price tag they are putting on such a basic piece is beyond me. Fall is a time of such opportunity and this is just disappointing to me. But Liz you look great in it. I am glad they sent it to you for free as I paid $19.99, lol.

I am going to dye mine with gray dye. I will get more use out of it. Is it soft?

I really appreciate this site and the comments! I wouldn’t have known about this if it wasn’t for Liz’s post, I wouldn’t have thought about the Dalmatian potential if I hadn’t read the comments and am glad to have done so in advance of possibly owning it, but I definitely love it anyway! This would be a first Box of Style for me, so I can use the MSA coupon! Better and better!
