Each month, Loot Crate will release a theme that spans across their Core Crate, Loot Pets, Loot Wear, and Loot Crate DX. This month's theme was Anti-Hero.
For the past few months, Loot Pets had included an info card that broke down into collectible trading cards. It looks like they've moved back to the traditional information card again.
You'll also receive a themed collar charm each month.
Here's a better look at this month's World of Warcraft charm.
You'll find information on all of your items on the reverse side of the information card.
Dogpool Matching "Head of the Pack" Dog and Human Shirts - Value $25-30?
This month's shirt featured Dogpool - how appropriate! It also features Headpool, with his helicopter hat!
Here's Buckles throwing you his over-the-shoulder runway look. He knows how to take a picture.
Harley Quinn Squeaking Plush Mallet - Value $10?
This month, they returned to a more geeky toy - I was so happy to see that! This Harley Quinn mallet has a rope toy for a handle.
It was too big for Buckles to get excited about. He spent a couple seconds trying to grab the mallet, but when he realized it was too big, he gave up. Luckily, we have lots of dogs ready to take this toy! He was nice enough to pose for a picture, though.
Mallet Smackers Treats - Value $10?
This month's treats were also Harley Quinn themed. Mallet Smackers are chicken and cranberry treats - and he loves them! Loot Pets treats have been a real hit lately - he completely finished his Barkstronaut Bites from last month in time for these new treats.
He was going crazy trying to find a way to break into these treats!
He loves them - and I love having new treats around for him from month-to-month, too!
Verdict: It felt as if they were phoning it in with Loot Pets the past couple months - the boxes felt like a run-of-the-mill pet box instead of a geeky-themed pet box. This month was a return to the geekiness I was expecting - much better! Overall, I love getting this box for just the photo shoot alone! Besides that, Buckles loves his treats and toys every month, so it's worth it to us. I have my fingers crossed that they stick to the geeky formula - it's really what separates them from the numerous dog boxes out there already.
