Little Passports: USA Edition
5 overall rating
1 Ratings | 0 Reviews

Little Passports is a subscription service for children that teaches them all about the world we live in – geography, languages, cultures – via a monthly care package filled with souvenirs. They recently started a subscription service for older children, age 7-12, that focuses on the USA. My ten-year-old has outgrown Little Passports’ regular offering, so I decided to sign him up for the USA Edition.

This package was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Every month, the USA edition focuses on two states. This month is Vermont and Kentucky! We always receive a lovely postcard from each state.

The main item in each month’s package is an activity book with state geography related games, puzzles and trivia. Here are Sam and Sofia by one of Vermont’s iconic covered bridges. Vermont is one of the most beautiful states I’ve ever been to, and my sons have been there, too.

This is the same activity book, upside down and backwards! Each state is given half the content of the book.

Here’s a peek inside the activity book. It’s absolutely packed with information! Little Passports does a great job diversifying the types of activities in different books from month to month, too.

This is the sticker page for this month. There are stickers to put in the field guide my son received in his welcome package that show each state’s bird, flower, flag, etc. There are also map markers for the US map he received.

Little Passports USA also sends a papercraft for each state every month. This is a DIY paper version of Fort Knox for Kentucky!

This is the papercraft for Vermont, a covered bridge!

Verdict: Little Passports: USA Edition is a hugely educational subscription, packed with tons of information. Doing activities and collecting various stickers is actually a really effective way to help kids learn, it turns out. I think this subscription would be wonderful for children who are home schooled! The papercrafts were not the most interesting things in the world to my son initially, but I think he’s starting to kinda like them.

What do you think of Little Passports: USA Edition?

Recommended for ages 7-12, Little Passports' USA Edition is designed for school aged children to "discover the USA with monthly activities, games, science experiments & more!". You'll get a Discovery Kit in your first month, then two states are explored each month after, featuring: 32-page activity-... read more.
