I received some promotional literature in my JustFab package again this month. This little booklet has a few pages with current styles, plus this page with an explanation of membership benefits.

Short Sleeve Wrap Dress - Value $54.95, VIP Price $39.95

I know it's late in the season, but I've had my eye on this dress for a while. It's still crazy hot here, too! I am officially cutting off all my summer clothing expenditures starting now. Probably. Anyway, I love this little wrap dress! It's not the most flattering thing I own, but what I love about it is that it's a faux wrap. The dress is fully sewn together on the inside; it's just a wrap front panel. I get nervous about real wrap dresses! I'm always afraid they will get untied somehow and fly open. Has that ever happened to anyone in real life? Or is it just a widely-shared fear?

I also received a wine voucher for nakedwines.com.

Verdict: JustFab is great! I have really been enjoying their plus size collection! I also have to mention that they have amazing sales, too, and some pretty good membership perks. They do actually have a nice fall collection already up on their site, and I promise I will dig into it next month!

What do you think of JustFab? Have you tried the plus items yet?

Is there any way to see their catalog without signing up? And do they specify what the measurements are for their sizes? Is a 3X a 22/24 or a 26/28?

I tried to get more info from their site but couldn’t get past the front page without being shunted into a style quiz and subsequent sign-up page. Arg.

The 3X is on the smaller end in my opinion.

Oop- Nevermind! I’m on my phone. Turns out I just had to switch to the full site. ::blush::

Oh my goodness-the comments totally cracked me up! I know I shouldn’t laugh. I am truly sorry for all of you that had such frightening fashion stories….but sharing a laugh with all of us.

And the dress looks lovely on you! (But maybe you should invest in a few safety pins just to be on the safe side.)

These comments gave me the giggles. I too at an awards dinner walked to the stage with my skirt tucked in my granny panties- luckily it was a very flowy skirt.
On a serious note glad to at least be given a choice of a plus size clothing sub. I’m so picky with how items fit me I’m doubtful this would work for me. But you look great Anna so glad it works for you.

Thanks Theresa! 🙂

I once popped out on top of a wrap dress at work, I laugh about it now, luckily I was wearing a nice VS bra and not a mom bra for sure, all anyone saw was lace I’m sure.

OMG so sorry to hear that, Lisa! Wow, I didn’t mean to turn the comments section into a painful memories tribute. But, we’ve all been there, I guess!

That is a great color on you. How do returns work? This sub looks appealing but I am concerned about how these clothes will fit tall women. This would be way too short for my comfort if I had gotten this dress. How is the quality of the dress? How do I become a blog poster for my subscription addiction? 🙂

I’m 5’9″ and the three top/jackets I’ve gotten have fit alright, similar to regular store items. Not quite long enough sleeves, but then that is usual for me. I imagine that dress would be way too short based on the model. I’ve only just ordered a pair of jeans, so I don’t know on those yet. The quality is medium, I’d say, varies a little by item, but not super cheaply made, especially considering the prices.

Anna

Thanks Anita! The only thing I can say is that the plus sizes are longer. I’m just shy of 5’4″ if that helps. Returns are easy for store credit, they send you a shipping label and everything. I don’t know about refunds. I’d say this particular dress is medium quality. I’ve never received anything from JF I thought was poor quality, but some things are nicer than others. I will let Liz answer your question about blogging!

Mine didn’t come untied. The two sides just started migrating apart until I stood up and it was like I was wearing an unbuttoned long cardigan. Ghastly for me and for those that got a glimpse of my full glory.

Anna

Yikes! I’m so sorry, Laurie! I once tucked the back of my skirt into my pantyhose if that makes you feel any better?

Omg Anna me too!

Deli

You look very cute in the dress. And to answer your question, it was a wrap skirt not a full dress but yes, it flew off and continued down the side of the road. The fear is real.

Oh my goodness!

I was just going to comment on the cuteness and great color of the dress. But this comment!
I’m torn between giggling and being mortified for you. Note to self: no wrap dresses or skirts!

Anna

LOL, thanks Linda!

Anna

OMG Deli! I’m so sorry that happened to you! Wow. Thank you for the compliment, too!
