So far I think Happy Rebel has been doing a great job curating. I have canceled a bunch of subscriptions because I am def going to be a customer. Sad that some I didn’t cancel fast enough and they hit the fees again. I can’t wait to start this subscription. I tend to ignore such specific comments where people have reasons for not liking…after all it’s called Happy Rebel not our names and it’s impossible to please everyone. I also think they have done a great job commenting as well as answering questions, addressing concerns or trying to explain without giving to much away.

I love the theme and current spoilers.. but I need to see at least one more spoiler before I justify $100. A stapler and a fancy notebook aren’t enough for me.. but I am heavily leaning towards getting this box though. If there is a third spoiler that is up my alley, I’ll be sold..

I’m waiting for another spoiler also. I have money earmarked and waiting to decide on which box to get for fall so now it’s just a matter of which sub posts a spoiler that sways me the quickest! I have it narrowed down to Happy Rebel, PSMH, RZ and maybe Oui Please but I’m kinda gun shy on that one because I’ve read about variations.

I love how this box’s themes really match the actual items sent. I don’t feel Popsugars spoiler themes match the items they send, they are so vague.

I really like this! Does anyone want to swap their set?

I LOVE Russell & Hazel office supplies – they have really cute notepads and other acrylic accessories too. I think these are a great addition in any box and for those that don’t like them, the others are right – these will be highly swappable.

The one thing I will say is this is the LAST box where I expected to see Russell & Hazel. I think of that brand as super preppy and girlie…not something I would expect in a Rebel Box. Covet Crate? Sure. LLB? Totally. Even one of the LE Popsugar boxes. Not that I’m complaining at all, I love these…it’s just funny to see this brand in the same box as a notebook with a skull on it.

I think that’s what I’m liking about this box- they look at the individual item’s potential rather than overall brand aesthetic. I think these items really fit the “look” they’re going for even if the brand usually doesn’t. I prefer the darker, stylish, “grown up goth” look myself and tend to get clothing and accessories at the most unexpected stores.

@HappyRebelBox

@Ally You hit the nail on the head 😉 We totally agree!

I like it so far, if you don’t have an office someone will surely want this on the swapping site.

Katie

I was a bit uncertain about this box, but now I am fully on board. My work space has needed a pick-me-up since I got my new desk. Now I will have some cute office staples to help me out. ?

@HappyRebelBox

@Katie Sounds like perfect timing! 😀 Would love for you to share a photo of the final results with us!

I don’t think of it as hash comments,just realistic. not everyone(not me) thinks of desk/office items as “lifestyle”,Boxes are my escape from that stuff.And being treated to high-priced ones isn’t a pleasure to me.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

Kathleen, not just this spoiler comment section. I think in general they have been treated harshly in the comment sections of spoilers and unboxing/reveals.

Jennifer

I agree with Stehanie…I keep looking at pretty office supplies but just can’t pull the trigger to spend the extra $$. These are unique yet useful. Spoke to curator and box RV will be around $175 at least and at least 8 items. This box has more items at lower price points. I think that is very fair. Not every box can be expected to have a hero item.

Stephanie

Well, my super long comment is gone. Anyway, I think it’s a nice addition to the box. It’s something that we don’t see and a very nice desk set. Versatile and stylish.

Stephanie

For some reason Happy Rebel is treated pretty harshly in comments. I don’t understand why exactly. I am not a subscriber, but these spoilers are nice. They are unique items that we don’t see in sub boxes. If this were LLB, I bet everyone would be eating this up! I know, I know…different price points, but what do people expect from boxes anymore?!?! Gold bars? Seriously, LLB sent out dish towels and people went bananas…and the swap site went crazy. Yes, I have all of those towels and swapped for several, but I see people complaining that we see the same items in sub boxes, but when there is a unique item (as evidenced above) people complain that it’s not good enough!

I’m not being harsh, even though I am not jazzed about the spoilers. I was expecting similar items to the last two boxes, different and rebellious even! I do LLB and serendipity and while those items are unique they are not always the best quality whereas the rebel boxes looked to be of excellent quality. I’m hopeful though for another crack at this box december, I bet that box will be beyond awesome.

Stephanie

Carey, I think they will swap easily on the swap site. Totally agree on your LLB/Serendipity observations….I think this box will be great and will swap like crazy. It’s unique and has a great RV…so easily swappable or keepable (not real words, but works here).

MyMilkShake

I love them – but I already own them from Kate Spade (got them a few years back). :/ They’re nice tho.

I was determined to get one of the “higher end” boxes for Septemeber but so far I have seen nothing I am goofy over or even slightly happy to see. This was one of my choices but I definitely do not need another stapler or notepad. Then i was thinking the Rachel Zoe box but the wrap is NOT me at all. 🙁 I’m left with oui please and luxor so maybe one of those will come through for me. lol

Reply ButtonReply

Chris

Instead of Zoe or Luxor or Oui you could do the PS Fall Limited Edition box. The fall one from them is always my favorite. I did a year of Oui and didn’t like it, Zoe for a year and it was okay and Luxor was okay by prefer PS Limited Edition for fall and winter 🙂

carey

Really? hmmm I hadn’t thought of PS. I just splurged on my first CFDA box and I really liked it. What is the price point typically with the LE boxes? Are they always the same price or does it vary? The CFDA box was quite pricey so not sure I wanted to go that crazy.lol

Danielle

I was about to post the same thing – PopSugar’s Fall Special Edition is one of my favorites. I’ve found the items to be easily swappable if you decide they aren’t right for you.

Kari

I am sooo happy that I am skipping this month!

Kathleen

It is such a good idea,as far as donating to a cause…but when spending a hundred,one would like to see something other than a tape dispenser and stapler.You can gold plate it…it is still a tape dispenser and stapler. I love the name of this box,I thought from the start it was a good fit.The name doesn’t go with the goods they have been sending.

Krista

The theme of this is cute and fun and not something we’ve seen a bunch of times already, so I like that.

The RV of these are 18 each which seems fair. And I like the notebook too 🙂 I’m happy so far.

@HappyRebelBox

Thanks Krista! A office themed box was one of the most requested themes, so we went for it! Hope you enjoy.

Melissa

I saw ones like that at Target the other day

Reply ButtonReply

Rachel

I’ve seen them there too for like $10-$15. Not worth it to convince me to drop $100.

Reply ButtonReply

Danielle

Nice, but not enough to convince me to spend $100.
