Bam Box July 2016-095

Each month of The Bam! Box has its own theme. July's theme was Galactic!

Bam Box July 2016-104

Bam Box July 2016-106

You'll receive a large information sheet with all the items and possible variants for the month. They have a 1UP system, where boxes will randomly be upgraded to a different, more-rare, item.

Bam Box July 2016-094

They've (somewhat) recently added Bam Pins - not unlike the Funko Marvel/DC/Star Wars boxes - and have re-designed the boxes to show you the pin before the rest of your items. I love this design for the unboxing process!

Bam Box July 2016-102

Rocket Racoon Bam Pin

This month's pin was titled 'True Love'. You could have received Rocket or Groot - you can always try swapping to complete the set!

Bam Box July 2016-097

Boba Fett Steel Statue - Value $10-15?

These handmade steel statues were created by Smitty Tut Designs. You could have received Yoda, Boba Fett, of Darth Vader (Darth Vadar was a 1UP upgrade). These are 5" tall silhoettes - and a first statue like this from a box, for me.

Bam Box July 2016-111

"The Battle" by Blake Henriksen - Value ??

This month has some great, unique, signed artwork. You could have received "Thanos" by Logan Pack (which looks awesome! Check out the info card above to see it), or "The Battle" by Blake Henriksen. I got a 1UP upgrade on this item this month! My signed copy has Hal Jordan as a bloody Red Lantern! Each is signed an numbered with a certificate of authenticity. I love these unique items from this subscription!

Bam Box July 2016-098

Authentic Wardrobe Card From Alien: Resurrection - Value ????

Here's something even more unique - a piece of wardrobe from the Alien: Resurrection set! This is from a screen-used jacket work by the Auriga crew in the movie. It's encased in a magnet-attached hard plastic case. Very cool. I've seen this with hockey cards, where you'd get a piece of a game-worn jersey, but this is the first I've seen with screen-used wardrobe.

Bam Box July 2016-100

Star Trek The Next Generation Badge and Rank Pin Set - Value $15-20?

Next is a set of incredible well made replica badges from Star Trek. This are die struck from a sheet of copper and hand polished. You can instantly see that they are high-quality items - very cool, and perfect for cosplay.

Bam Box July 2016-112

Mars Space Sand - Value $1-2?

The final item was a pack of  "Space Sand". This sand can never get wet - dump it in water and it will come out completely dry. Just a little something to pique your curiosity.

Some ultra-lucky 'Gold Star Instant Winners' also received a signed comic! Any lucky MSA readers get one?

Verdict: As always, if you're looking for a unique geeky subscription - this is it. I love the signed artwork I've received from The Bam! Box - it's always high quality and original. Expect to get other unique items as well - I never expected to get screen-worn costume cards in any box, ever - so that's cool too. This box is perfect for the geeky collector - whether it be autographs, memorabilia, or art.

I got a signed comic! It’s awesome! signed by Carlos Pacheco! the signature is a little gritty, like it touched something when still wet, but still very cool.

So my buddy just got his box delivered to the office. Long story short, the bag of sand leaked all over the contents. He is pissed. I’m just hoping mine didn’t suffer a similar fate.

That statue actually looks like an awesome bookend.

It could definitely be used as that if you have something to support the other side. Too bad I didn’t get a Yoda for the other side!
