Scooby Doo Shirt - Value $15 on Amazon
This month's shirt features Shaggy and Scooby. Ummm...I'm not really sure how to interpret this shirt, so...
Magic Apprentice Wand - Value $10 on Amazon
It's been a big past few days for Harry Potter fans. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is out, today was Harry Potter's birthday, and there are conflicting reports that we will soon see a Harry Potter Pokemon GO game. So, this wand was timed perfectly.
My hand model, Liz, had fun toying around with this wand. It's lightweight, with most of the weight at the base, since this is where the battery is, because...
It lights up! It's a small LED light on top, so don't expect it to be super bright.
It's also a pen! So, not only was it a fun item, but it also has a practical use.
James Gordon POP - Value $8 on Amazon
This month included a POP! I got a young James Gordon from the Gotham series. I have a love/hate relationship with Gotham. Liz and I tried to follow it when it first aired - we got about 4 episodes in and stopped. I recently gave it a second try and eventually caught up through two seasons. It's not the best show in the world, but I love Batman, so it's fun to see the little easter eggs throughout the show - I guess that's what kept me watching.
Supernatural Castiel Pocket POP - Value $7 on Amazon
We also receive a Pocket POP from Supernatural. I'm a fan of these little Pocket POPs - removed the screw from the top of the figure, and you've got a freestanding little POP - love it. I've never watched Supernatural, though, so I can't comment on Castiel.
Sonic Boom - Knuckles - Value $10-15 on Amazon
The price tag on Amazon seemed a bit inflated, so I ended up valuing it in a range. This figure is from the Cartoon Network show - Sonic Boom. I got Knuckles, but without a card, I'm not sure if there were other variants in boxes.
It's a cool figure! Definitely one for the display shelf.
DC Comics Erasers - Nightwing - Value $2-3?
They send a small eraser from DC Comics. I got Nightwing. Again, these little things are easy to pop onto the shelf for display as well.
Scooby Pin - Value $1?
The last item in the box was a Scooby Doo pin to go along with your new shirt.
Verdict: I really liked this month's Powered Geek Box! They've done a good job with the past couple of boxes - I feel like the value is there and they removed some filler from their boxes - both great things to keep going. The box was different his month as well. I'm not sure if this will be the ongoing shipping size, or if it was to accommodate the wand. Overall, Powered Geek Box has stepped their game up! Don't expect exclusives , but you can expect a good value if the past 3-4 boxes are any indication of the direction they are heading.
