The box came with this information card. This month’s theme is “gone fishing.”

Loving Pets It’s Purely Natural Freeze Dried Shrimp (0.5 oz) – Value $6.10

I swear, in the past, my cats have NOT been interested in freeze-dried shrimp. But, I gave some of this out and the three who can have it (sorry, Mr. Kitty) thought it was great. It also stank to high heaven…

SmartyKat Tackle Fish – Value $5.99

This is a little large for my guys (and gal) but it definitely fits the theme. If your cat likes to wrestle with toys, this could be a good fit (my cats have each other to wrestle with…).

Amigo Fishbone Cat Toy – Value $4 (?)

I think my cats will like chewing on the middle bone part of this, based on their past toy preferences. No one was really in the mood for playing (except Sneaky) when I took the photos for this box, though. Sometimes that happens. Cats are fickle. (I couldn’t find this one online, the combination of search terms is just too generic.)

Petstages Madcap Crunch and Wrestle Fish – Value $7.04

Monkey normally loves Petstages Madcap toys. He seems to enjoy licking them. I think this must not have as much catnip as some of the others. Again, this is great if your cat likes wrestling with toys.

Charming Pet Snapcat Fish (Orange) – Value $6.99

This was the clear toy winner for this box. Sneaky thought it was awesome. I am pretty sure I have another one of these around somewhere in a blue color. You squeeze the fish and the end of the tail moves.

Gratuitous cat photos ahead:

Madison was a little skeptical when I first brought him down for photos. As usual.

But the STRONG shrimp smell enticed him…

One lick, and…

…it’s gone!

Monkey wasn’t sure about this.

I like the look he is giving me. It’s like he’s saying “stop it.”

Finally, some enthusiasm!

Sneaky had a lot of fun with this thing.

Mr. Kitty didn’t really want to play along.  But, he’s an old guy (almost 12!) who has been dealing with a chronic illness for about 4 years, so I will give him a pass.

Verdict: I calculated a value of about $30.12 for the June Pet GiftBox for cats. That is one of the highest values I’ve seen yet from this box, and slightly exceeds the cost of the box. My cats loved the shrimp and Sneaky had a lot of fun with the Snapcat toy. But, I think this box is probably best for multiple cats because then there will be more of a chance that everything will be enjoyed. I still hope to get my cats interested in wrestler-type toys one day, because I think it would be cute to watch, but they aren’t there yet.

Mr. Kitty, it’s ok if you don’t feel like playing. You choose your moments wisely I’m sure. ❤️ to the super senior!

Love the pics (as usual) ! Thanks for the review. It looks like a great box, but I had a hard time canceling my dog box after a Groupon deal. It took several emails that they never responded to and there was no phone number if I remember correctly. I ended up getting charged and receiving a box after I sent cancelation emails for like two months. They never wrote back.
