This is the new character they are introducing this month, Oliver the Koala! How cute. This is a little paper doll. My sons are way too old for paper dolls, but this would definitely be cute for a younger subscriber.
This is the activity sheet that was included. The reverse has a big drawing space. It kind of reminds me of the activity placemats they give kids in restaurants.
Now on to the main event: the socks! This is the first pair that were included, depicting Oliver. How cute that his little nose sticks out! I photographed them this way to remind you of one of my new favorite things in the world: THE SNAP. Look at the top of the socks and you'll see that they can snap together. So awesome. I wish all socks snapped together.
This is the second pair of socks we got this month. How helpful for kids who are learning their left from their right!
Verdict: I think Panda Pals is adorable and would make an especially good present for a young child you care about. I have been a fan of these socks for a while now, but I'm noticing as time goes on that they are really inconsistent about the other items that are included in the package. I would hate to buy this for a child and then see them disappointed or confused by the contents from month to month. Otherwise, they are great, soft socks that snap together. I think $15 for two pair is a bit steep, but as a gift I think this would be an awesome subscription.
Have you tried Panda Pals yet? Isn't the snap the best?
