MISSION CUTE JULY 2016 - INFO 1

Every MissionCute box comes with an informational card detailing that month’s featured items inside and what charity they’re donating to.

MISSION CUTE JULY 2016 - INFO 2

This month they’re donating to Girl Scouts.

MISSION CUTE JULY 2016 - ITEMS 1

Summer Pineapple Necklace – value: $12

This necklace is super cute! My favorite part about it is that it doesn’t slide around on the chain – it’s attached where it is so the clasp will never come around to the front.

Flamingle 5x7 Print – value: $9

I love puns, and flamingos are super trendy right now. What a cute print!

Exclusive Mission Cute Sip + Summer Tumbler - $22

I’m surprised I haven’t seen more tumblers in subscription boxes this summer. This one is a plastic one that has the phrase “Sip. Shine. Smile. Seek. Summer.” It’s not fancy or anything (and it’s not dishwasher safe) but I’m sure I’ll use it! I just don’t think this is a $22 tumbler.

MISSION CUTE JULY 2016 - items 4

Thin Lace Stretch Headband - $5

I don’t wear headbands for style much, but I think this will be great for holding my hair back during washing my face or use a mask.

Mission Cute Watermelon Pouch – value: $6

This is adorable. This box covers watermelons, pineapples, and flamingos, so it has lots of summer trends! As far as incorporating watermelons into pouches/wallets/what have you goes, this seems like a little young of a result. So, I think I’ll gift this to my little sister-in-law.

MISSION CUTE JULY 2016 - items 5

Tortoise Shell Sunglasses – value: $19

These sunglasses are a nice style – one that I like – but I think they’re just a little big for my face. I like the design though, which seems unisex anyway, so I may see if my husband will wear them!

Verdict: I liked this month’s MissionCute alright. For a $39 box I wish there were higher quality items. My favorite thing is the pineapple necklace. The value adds up to $73, which is a good value, but I think some items are valued too high.

This box was nicer than the May box (ridiculously bad box). I understand that half goes to charity so I usually look for $20 in value in this box. I think this box meets that value but just barely.
