Luxe Provence-111

This box comes with an info booklet giving you more info on the theme of the box and how to use the items.

Luxe Provence-112

This box is about Summer in Provence.

Luxe Provence-012

Rose et Marius Rose Wine Hand Soap – Value $25

This liquid hand soap is made with 97% natural ingredients, and it is paraben free. I was expecting a rose-heavy scent, but this one doesn’t smell very rose-y to me, and I like that! Plus the bottle is gorgeous and ready to display!

It also came with a bonus sample of soap too:

Luxe Provence-107

Luxe Provence-017

Lavender Sachet – Value $8?

This smells incredibly fresh, and it is perfect to put in a linen closet, dresser drawer, etc. Plus, I love that they gave this bag a little extra flair with the lace!

Luxe Provence-016

Aix & Terra Lavender Jelly – Value $8

Luxe Provence encourages you to use 1-2 teaspoons of this jelly in a glass and top it with champagne for a Kir Royale drink! I tried it out and the jelly didn’t fully dissolve, but it added the lavender flavor without being overly sweet.

And since we’re on the subject of champagne, on to the next item!

Luxe Provence-018

Luxe Provence Chill It Rose/Wine/Champagne Bag – Value $65

This is the first time Luxe Provence has included their own branded items in the box, and I am thrilled with the quality. This champagne bag is so well-made!

It’s designed with french linen and leather, and the inside of the bag is lined to keep your wine chilled. There’s a little extra room to add ice, too.

Here it is in action:

And here is the matching tote:

Luxe Provence-127

Luxe Provence Custom Designed Linen Carry It All Bag – Value $135

Again, the quality of the work is impressive. Here is a closer look at the leather handles:

And the peach check lining:

The inside zipper is a nice bonus, too! And here it is in action to give you a better sense of scale (This tote can haul a lot!)

Luxe Provence-075

Verdict: This box has a value of about $241 I think that’s a good value especially considering that it includes shipping. This consistently feels like a quality over quantity box to me, too.

I’m also just so impressed with the quality of their signature pieces. I’m usually skeptical when it comes to items made specifically for boxes, but now after seeing the pieces I hope this trend continues in every box!

What do you think of the Summer Luxe Provence Box?

  1. I finally received my box Friday (7-29). Love the size of the tote though it is a bit shapeless. The star for me was the wine holder–gorgeous. I won’t use it but can appreciate it.
After several “help” emails from me (it turned out dhl shipping was going to trash-new one for me!) the lovely emails from them turned sharp. I Did receive a cute notepad with beautiful leather as an extra due to the lateness of the box–but it was literally tossed in. This month felt–off. I’m hoping they get back on track!!
Now I am about to enter your swap page with some of these items (and from Luxor) THANK YOU for this swap service!! It is saving my Summer box experience!!

  2. This was my treat to me for the year. While I love a Lot of the things I have received (including perfume to die for!) I do not enjoy drinking. I gift some of my items from my subs-but-as with this box-two items are specifically for wine or drinks. I just cannot be thrilled with items- even as well made as these – I will never use.

  3. I absolutely cannot wait to receive my box!!!! Thanks for the great spoilers.

    • Hope you love it, too! 🙂

  4. That tote looks just large enough to carry a tiny puppy! 😉

    • I’m not sure about this. I think I would need to see a tiny puppy for scale, otherwise I will never know how big it is.

      • OMG I love these comments! Yes – more Buckles in future reviews! What was I thinking?! 🙂

  5. Beautiful pics!

  6. When I bought this parcel they didn’t accept PayPal (not sure if it changed) and with the one time box purchase I was charged $25 shipping but that was at their pre sale box at $195 so I’m not sure if it’s free shipping when bought at their full price of $225. Am wondering if this was the case with anyone else.

    • Yes, I was also later charged more from DHL.

  7. This is a box that is so outside of my budget, so I enjoy it vicariously through your reviews. ? I have to say Liz, I don’t know where you live, but it sure looks gorgeous. I am a desert dwelling Arizona girl, so all of that lush green is so foreign and fresh looking! Keep up the pics in your reviews. You look lovely and so does your setting!

    • Thank you so much! We’re in PA and lucky to have some giant trees in our backyard 🙂

  8. I love how Luxe this box is! Everything is so gorgeous! Out of my budget for sure, but one day I will have this luxurious box sent to me 🙂

  9. Per Customs & Border Patrol the amount that you can receive in a package imported has risen from $200 to $800. This is pretty new; since Feb 2016. Almost all imports now should not be charged customs fees. I wish other countries would raise their threshold as well…
The tote looks well made and timeless.

    • That’s great to know – thank you! I’ll remove that warning from the review 🙂

And yes, the tote is such a classic piece!

      • Looking amazing as usual Liz!

        • Thank you! ❤️
