I really am enjoying this subscription. The brands and products they include are new to me, they have great curation and balance between salty and sweet, and I don't have to worry about eating a ton of empty calories.  This is definitely a great 'better for you' snack box.  I really like that they usually include coupons, and they always have an information card!

There are always quite a few snacks included, so let's get to the good stuff!

SS3

Blue Corn Tortilla Chips by Cabo Chips - $1.25

I enjoyed these.  They were salted just the right amount and, of course, the color was gorgeous.

Sea Salt Pasta Chips by Vintage Italia - $1.18

I've received pasta chips before from this box and I always enjoy them.  The flavor on this bag was pretty good and the texture is always great!

Vanilla Snakaroons by Laughing Giraffe Organics - $1.20

Lemon Snakaroons by Laughing Giraffe Organics - $1.20

I really liked these.  They look to be a healthier version of macaroon cookies, and they are all organic and raw.  I enjoyed these much better than some other macaroons that I received in my Treatsie box earlier this year - the texture of these was really great and the flavor was strong.

SS4

Sea Salt Baked Crunchy Chickpeas by Chic-A-Peas - $2.29

I discovered crunchy chickpeas from my Love with Food box this month and I am so happy to have more!  I love these!  Crunchy and salty without all the empty calories of chips.

Hawaiian BBQ Potato Chips by One Potato Two Potato - $0.99

Speaking of chips...if you're going to indulge these are the way to go.  The flavor was great and the texture of the chip was also great.  Just the right amount of thickness for a satisfying chip!

Strawberry Fruit Smoothie Pop by Fru-Licious - $0.31

Banana Fruit Smoothie Pop by Fru-Licious - $0.31

These were great for grabbing something sweet on the go.  The flavors were great and the texture was similar to frozen yogurt.  These would be a great alternative to Otter Pops during the summer months!

SS5

Peanut Butter Cookies by Ona - $2.99

These were really good - nice and soft with plenty of peanut butter flavor.  These are grain free, dairy free, soy free, and have no refined sugars.  You can't beat that for a healthful indulgence.

Raspberry Coconut Oatmeal Squeeze by Munk Pack - $2.50

I just can't do these squeezy packs often.  The texture is...not appetizing.  If I am going to eat oatmeal, I'm just going to eat it.  With that said, the flavor of this one was great and they are perfect to grab and go when you need a snack or breakfast on the go.  These are packed with nutrition and are non-GMO, whole grain, gluten free, and vegan.

Crunchy Almond Butter by Barney Butter - $0.60

I enjoyed this on some toast with honey drizzled on top.  I like almond butter but rarely purchase it because it's pretty pricey.  These little to go packets are perfect though for a quick lunch with an apple, hard boiled egg, and some cheese!

Chocolate Espresso Crunch Bar by Raw Rev - $1.99

These bars have been popular in boxes lately.  I feel like I get one almost every month.  The texture of them is what you would expect from a traditional protein bar.  This one has a nice flavor with the chocolate coming through strongest, followed by the smooth espresso flavor.

Pitted Green Olives by Olympos - $1.20

This is definitely not going to be for everyone, but I LOVED it.  Perfectly briny and tart!

Verdict:  This SnackSack has a value of about $18.01, which is a little low compared to the cost of the box.  With that said, I received 13 items - so it works out to about $1.92 per item.  I would be happy with that value.  I received many snacks that I enjoyed immensely and I always love being introduced to new snacks and brands!

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

Honestly, I think that value is too low for the cost of the box.

I really enjoy this box but I have to agree they have been repeating themselves and also what has appeared in the lwf box a lot lately.

It is a good measure of curation when something is truly new, unusual or one-of-a-kind, as opposed to finding the same samples from companies month after month included in food boxes. I’ve been getting the Olympos Olives and Pasta Chips in various boxes for months. Not to say I don’t enjoy them (because–nom, nom–I do!) but it is part of the fun and excitement to be introduced to new products and surprised by a tasty treat. However, as you pointed out, if you subscribe to more than one or two, repeats are inevitable.

I guess when you subscribe to a couple of food boxes, you are bound to get repeats. I don’t subscribe this box but I have had pasta chips, snakaroons, one potato two potato chips, chic-a-peas, rawrev glo bars, the same brand of oatmeal fruit squeeze, the olympos olives, and I think also the ona cookie before. At least there are no Beanfield’s…

(For the record, I do like all of the things I listed.)

Yeah, I think you’re definitely bound to get repeats. I’m still pretty excited when I get to try new flavors or whatnot, but yeah, there are some repeats I am not excited about! lol.
