Gwynnie Bee is a clothing rental subscription service for women sizes 10-32. I have been intrigued with their concept for a while because I think plus-sized clothing is sorely underserved in the subscription box market. I have been having a lot of fun with this subscription!
Gwynnie Bee kindly invited me to try their service for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

This review is of the 3 items at a time subscription from 5/21 through 6/20.

I had such high hopes for this dress, but it wound up not being a really good match for me. When I saw the picture on the model, I thought it was a cotton dress, but it's a very synthetic material. This made it too hot, for one thing, and it also made the dress not hang as I thought it would. It had a little puff to the skirt area. So, it was fine, but it didn't look great on me.

I haven't had a tank top with tie straps since I was a kid! This was a very cute tank that was surprisingly flattering on, despite my arms being one of the areas I'm self-conscious about showing off.

LONDON TIMES - Eyelet V-Neck Dress In Red
I love wearing eyelet in spring, and this shade made it the perfect dress for late spring. If it had more in the way of sleeves, I probably would have kept it.

JETE - Color Movement Doni Tank Top
This tank was just easy and visually interesting.

YOURS CLOTHING - Tropical Floral Print Jumpsuit
I took a big risk requesting this jumpsuit, and sadly, it did not pay off. I was just curious. I didn't think it would work on me, and it didn't. I know from this picture you can't really tell what it looked like, and there's no really good way to photograph jumpsuits, so here's the model:

I'm guessing this model is about six feel tall, size 12, and maybe 18 years old. I am none of those things, so I looked like a character from Whoville in this. Oh well, you can't win them all!

BB DAKOTA - Merrian Drawstring Dress
This was my favorite piece from Gwynnie Bee all month! It's really basic, but I could style it several different ways. It was super flattering on and a good color for me. Plus it was a nice, lightweight cotton, so it was super comfortable. I don't usually keep things for too long, but I kept this one for a while. I might buy it if it shows up in the shop soon.

CITY CHIC - Zip Front Tunic Dress in Tigerlily
This dress was another big win for me. It looks kind of frumpy on the dress form, but it's super flattering on my body. Gwynnie Bee has several different prints of this dress, and I think this one is my favorite. The shape just gives it so much style, and the high fitted waist is super slimming.
I just wish the material breathed! Funny story, I wore it to Fathers' Day, and when we were driving back, I said, "I need to get out of this dress, it's so hot!" My husband said, "Really? It looks so nice and light." I said, "Yes, well it doesn't cover too much, but the part it covers..." when from the back seat I heard my eight-year-old go, "Wooooooo!" Haha! I guess it was a hit!

TAYLOR DRESSES - Geometric Halter Dress in Green
This also might be my favorite piece this month, I simply cannot decide. I haven't worn it yet, but I did try it on, and I love the way it fits! I also love that Gwynnie Bee is starting to carry a wider array of styles. Plus the color of this one is just gorgeous!

This has never happened before in my many months of subscribing to Gwynnie Bee, but this month I received this awesome bonus in one of my boxes! A three-piece sample set from Rimmel London! It includes a foil packet of foundation, a full-size brown eyeliner, and a full-size pink sheer lipstick! What a nice surprise!

Here are the lipstick and eyeliner, swatched. Both are nice neutrals for summer.

It also included a coupon for $2 off any Rimmel London product!
Verdict: This was an awesome month of Gwynnie Bee for me! I received several items that were outstanding! With Gwynnie Bee, there will always be some pieces you like better than others, and once in a while there will be something that just doesn't work at all (like the jumpsuit!). Overall, however, this is a fabulous subscription for someone like myself who doesn't like to wear the same thing twice! Plus it really saves me some laundry time and dry cleaning money! And how about that awesome bonus?
