FLICKER BOX MAY 2016 - info

This month’s candle selection is called “Night Sky.”

FLICKER BOX MAY 2016 - items 1

Candelaria Stardust Candle with Wood Coaster Lid – 9 oz, value: $28

This candle smells so good! Here’s how their website describes it: “Pink cotton candy, sweet lemon drops, raspberry, fig leaves, with warm caramel and hints of Sicilian orange, Lily of the Valley, & powdery vanilla musk.” I love it. The coaster is a luxe nice touch, too. As far as being a lid, well, it’s not functional – it just sits on top and doesn’t attach or fit on/in in any way. That’s not a big deal with me, though.

FLICKER BOX MAY 2016 - items 2

Hearth & Hammer Moonlit Moore Candle – 8 oz, value: $18

This candle combines violet, orris, and musk flower. It’s sweet but also has a balanced complexity due to the musk. The fragrance is inspired by this quote from Wuthering Heights:

"There was no moon, and everything beneath lay in misty darkness: not a light gleamed from any house, far or near all had been extinguished long ago."

FLICKER BOX MAY 2016 - items 3

Wood & Wax Co. Moon Flower Wood Wick Jar Candle – 9 oz, value: $16.50

This candle’s fragrance is jasmine flowers and rose petals – it’s very warm and romantic! I like it. Also, this floral label is gorgeous! I love having this on display on my coffee table or mantle.

Also included was a couple coupons and they always throw in a book of matches, which I greatly appreciate! I like to keep them next to wherever my candles are to make it quick and easy to light.

Verdict: I really liked this month’s Flicker Box. I thought the theme was well curated and original. The value adds up to $62.50 which is great. I think this is a great way to discover artisanal candles made with all-natural ingredients!

I do like Flicker box and subscribed to it for quite awhile through various deals. I have so many candles now though from various places that I have to use those before I do anymore.
