Five Four Club is a monthly men’s clothing subscription service. You take a brief survey when you sign up (sizes and style preferences), and then each month they send you on average 2-3 new clothing pieces or accessories. For reference, my style profile is “T-Shirt and jeans.”
I've been subscribing March 2013 and in general, I'm very happy with the quality of the clothing and the value - especially the t-shirts. (We’ve found the sizing to be similar to American Eagle’s sizing if that helps!)
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Five Four Club
The Cost: $60 a month (includes free shipping)
The Products: The Products: Men’s Clothing customized to your profile valued at over $100
Ships to: US and Canada ($25 surcharge for Canadian orders)

Alder Olive Button Down
This was the biggest miss for me this month. This plaid, button down, short sleeve shirt had the worst possible shoulders for my body. If I raised my arm, the fabric would bunch up and hit me in the face. I liked the design, but I don't really wear short sleeve button ups, and these just do not work with broad shoulders.
Dogwood Black Short - 9" Classic
I also got a new pair of summer shorts. Liz tells me that the fabric is "seersucker". What I know is that it's simply not my style at all. They are a thin material as well, which was nice for breathability. Overall, I'd wear these if there was nothing left to wear - but I wouldn't be comfortable at all in them.
Acer Navy Belt
This was the only item that I really enjoyed this month. Liz tends to make fun of me because I have, basically, one belt. It's tried and true - and I like it! So, it never hurts to get a new belt to try (after all my favorite belt came from a subscription box!) and this a belt that I'm keeping around.
Verdict: This was the first month in a long while where I have felt disappointed with the selections. But, I've gone in a rated the shipment (which you can do from your Dashboard, just click "Collection"), so I hope that Five Four Club course corrects for my next shipment!
