Included was an information card detailing the products in the box and some product literature.

Pure Growth Organic Sea Salt Popcorn (0.6 oz) – Value $1.08

Popcorn is a good snack – filling and high in fiber, but low in calories. I thought this was all right although there were a lot of tiny pieces at the bottom of the bag.

Paleo Simplified Superfood Energy Bar in Pecan Pie – Value $3.59

The first ingredient here is dates and this does taste mostly like a date bar. It has 22 grams of sugar, which is kind of a lot, even for natural fruit sugars. It was nice to try but I will probably stick to Quest bars when I need a product like this.

Germ Block Hand Sanitizer Lotion – Value $2 (?)

I’m not totally sure of the value here, since this is a sample product and there was no size listed on it. This has mostly natural ingredients (98%) and is supposed to moisturize while also killing germs. This is more of a winter item for me (I rarely use hand sanitizer in general, I just go straight for soap and water) but I will stick it in my purse for those times I can’t get to a sink.

Stacker 2 Microdex (12 tablets) – Value $5

I think this is contraindicated for me because I have a family history of hypertension, diabetes, and a couple of the other things in a very long list of conditions on the “supplement facts” label. But, this must be a popular product because I remember seeing TV commercials about it years ago.

Frownies Eye Gels (1 set) – Value $1

I find these very similar to the eye gels from ToGoSpa. They are definitely soothing if you put them in the refrigerator and then wear them. I don’t get dark circles so I can’t comment on that, but these do have some good moisturizing and antioxidant ingredients like hyaluronic acid and vitamin E. I find this something of an odd inclusion for a weight loss box, though.

Xylichew Black Licorice Gum (12 pieces) – Value $2.60

I have not had to buy gum for months because I keep getting Xylichew in subscription boxes. I like it since I prefer not to chew gum with sugar (this has xylitol from birch in it). But, I think black licorice is not my favorite flavor. It tastes just like a black gumdrop at first but then the sweetness of the outer shell wears away.

Verdict: I calculated a value of about $15.27 for the June Bulu Box Weight Loss version. That’s above the cost of the box and an even better deal if you use our MYSUB99 or MYSUB5 coupons for the subscription and do reviews for points. It contained kind of an odd selection of items for weight loss (eye gels, etc.) but it did introduce me to several new products and that’s really what Bulu Box is all about. Overall, I think this one is best for people who like to try supplements and/or people who would buy items in the Bulu Box shop (since you can review box items for points).

I was surprised at how many samples I got in my box. I subscribe to 3 beauty boxes and out of all the boxes I get, this one was my favorite. Everything they sent were just samples, but I didn’t expect any full size products. I was happy with my box and plan on keeping my subscription.

I received 7 items one was a full bottle of everland burn old packaging soon to expire but worth. $44.00. Also got bakery on main but crunch 4oz bag, fitness delight shake powder one serving , popcorn 1 pack, 1 packet herbal zap digestive health, Banda sil small sample and 1 neocell biotin burst. Good box. I believe I got better samples after I changed my profile to everthing instead of picking a few interests.

I received the same box with the exception of the bar. I got a protein shake sample instead.

I think the frownies might be a higher value as the link directs you to the frownies product which contains 3 sets of eye gels to be reused 5-7 times each.

I agree, the Frownies is $10 for 1 reusable set. Might be a mistake on the Bulu listing since it states “30” servings.

Yeah, it was the “servings” that threw me.

But, I don’t reuse products of this type because I don’t find it to be sanitary. Once they are out of the sealed package, they are a great environment for bacteria to grow. And then you are putting that near your eyes.
