There wasn’t a traditional information card; rather, there was a little card directing you to the Beautifly Pure (not a typo, by the way – that’s how they spell their business name) website and social media pages.

Lip Scrub in Coconut and Lime (1.5 oz) – Value $4 (?)

This is a very practical item for me and it also smells quite good (plus it’s effective).  This will get used up!  The value is an absolute guess because this item isn’t available in their shop.

Peach Lavender Wax Melt – Value $4

Now it is time for me to dig out my 20-year-old wax melt burner because this smells wonderful.  I never would’ve thought to pair peach and lavender but the combination actually works pretty well.

Bath Soak in Coconut Milk and Glory (2 oz) – Value $2.33

This was perfect for me.  It has the traditional salts but also dried coconut milk which really helped moisturize my skin and had a lovely aroma.

Sweet Dreams Soap (half size, 1.75 oz) – Value $2.50

I’m not entirely sure what the fragrance components of this are, since I seem to have lost the label (if there was one).  But it’s spicy with a little anise and maybe some orange?  It makes me think of the holidays and I really like it.

Pumpkin and Oatmeal Soap (full size, 4.2 oz) – Value $6

This has a pretty mild scent, which works for me.  It’s another scent that reminds me more of fall/winter than summer, but since I am not one to worry about seasonal trends, that is OK with me.

The little scoop was supposed to go with the bath soak, but I didn’t find it until later.

beautiflypure-may-2016-ingredients

And, I just wanted to show that Beautifly Pure is pretty up front about ingredients.  Here they are for all the personal care items (didn’t see the list for the half size soap but am assuming the ingredients are similar to those in the full size soap).

Verdict:  I estimated a value of about $19 for the May BPure Box.   That is pretty close to the cost of the box and could actually meet the cost of the box since I had to guess at some of the values and they may actually be higher.  Plus, you get some exclusive items in the subscription that aren’t available in their shop, which I think is worth something.

I am really starting to like this box a lot.  I always find something quite practical (last month a brush cleaner and this month, the lip scrub), a few fun things, and the soap is pretty good.  It doesn’t irritate my skin (I’ve been using one of the bars from last month for awhile) and it doesn’t make the shower floor slippery, plus the amount is much more reasonable for a one- or two-person household.

What did you think of the May BPure Box?  Do you get any soap or bath subscriptions?
