Chiming in for the billing issues – I was charged $350 when I was not supposed to be charged at all. I emailed last week on issue and no response this week – sent another email in follow-up, nothing. Rachel Zoe Box of Style is the new OuiPlease.

I got a email today from Rachel Zoe that said subscription cancelled. I ordered it thru Gilt city so thought was strange and wondered what the heck is this? I went to the site and it has a full year at $400 on there that says cancelled and then the $70 for the one I ordered thru Gilt. Not sure how house of style did this but will definitely be checking out what I actually get billed for. I would be so unhappy if I got charged extra. I’ve been using PayPal on any boxes that will accept it to try and limit the damage done if mistakes are made.

I am a regular month to month subscriber as well ($100/box) and just checked my bank account after looking at these comments and I was just charged $350 for the yearly subscription (not pending, this is a cleared charge). I didn’t receive any email notifications about the billing or request for authorization to upgrade to the yearly subscription. I wish they had a phone number contact, but have emailed customer service and and waiting a response.

A big FYI to existing subscribers: quite a few of us have been overcharged $300 for the next box. I am NOT an annual subscriber and never have been, nor did I authorize the extra charges. The charge doesn’t even add up to a full year subscription anyway. I’ve contacted RZ customer service but so far there’s been no response (and of course there’s no number to call). I’m furious and if I don’t get a response within the next day I’m reporting this as a fraudulent/unauthorized charge to my card issuer. Add this to the fact existing subscribers aren’t given the same discounts or perks as new subscribers and I may just cancel my subscription entirely.

did anyone ever hear back? I still have not heard a thing from them! I had to contact Amex, of whom they charged!

FYI – I was able to delete all of my information from my account most important being my CC

I was charged 300 too or at least it looks like that in my account but when I log into my box of style account it says its on hold… I emailed them yesterday with no response yet

I’m surprised to see this sales tactic for this box as it always appears that this box has a great following and no problem selling.

I don’t think many people are a fan of the spoiler necklace (esp since that brand sent that less than favorable bracelet in the popsugar Dec box). I know that I have one coming and won’t wear it. they are also promoting their shop this way too. glad they didnt discount the box.

The same thing happened to me yesterday! I suddenly got charged for an annual membership instead of the $100 for the summer box. I have emailed them about it and still haven’t heard anything. I hope they rectify this soon!!

Wow!! The way I read this here and on the Gilt City site; it was supposed to be for one box, the summer box. How did you get charged so much? I’d be pissed.

I’ve have been with them since the beginning. They are only suppose to charge $100 quarterly, but they charge my account 3 times. And what’s weird is that they usually send an email alerting you of an upcoming charge before boxes are shipped. No notices were sent. Yes I am pissed

I’m wondering where Gilt City got the $400 regular price from, when a year is $350? They say it’s 75% off. That would make sense if it’s a year’s subscription plus the $50 credit.

I think they’re saying the single box is valued at $350, plus the $50 credit = $400. But we know that you don’t pay $350 for the box, so it’s kind of misleading. I was about to get one, but I don’t care for the spoilers so far and I went to the website and couldn’t find anything to my taste or budget. Win for the wallet!!
