This is the last time i ever order from them. Today i came home to a door tag. Apparently julep required a signature, and i wasn’t at home, so now i have to drive an hour round trip to go pick it up. All because they wouldn’t have my package simply left on my porch. This is beyond inconvenient for me. They’ve never required signature in the past, but if that’s how they do business now, forget it.

And i just picked up my package and I’m missing a polish! This on top of a 2 hour round trip to pick up this stupid package (thanks beyonce traffic)… I’m turned off of Julep for life.

Dee

Anyone get there order yet? Mine says Monday when I tracked it! Would love to see the colors!!

Kelly

I got my order today and I only received 10 polishes. I got the 10 piece mystery grab bag and I added an additional polish so I should have received 11. I got: Sonia, Roc Solid, Miriam, Neely, Casey, Ali, Kendra, Kat, and Shailene.

Jamie M

I got slightly different, but I’m also missing one: sonia, myriam, neely, casey, ali, shailene, kat … but then lizzy and chrissy.

Carolina

To confirm, I got all the same. I did get my 11th polish though. If it’s in your confirmation email, I would email them – they are very quick to ship missing items.

I’m pretty happy with the colors. I think I only got two dupes, Ali and Sonia.

carey

I’m due monday as well. I think we will all get a different assortment though….It’s kinda a grab bag kinda deal I think. Either way, it’d be nice to see what others get.

molly

It’s actually the same colors for everyone that’s why it said in the comments that if you ordered more than one they would be duplicates. My mystery boxes have always matched up to what others got

Rebecca Harjo

Is this saying that you can use both the coupon code MAYCOLOR and MAY15? Or is it just one per order?

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

One per order. Sorry for any confusion!

Reply ButtonReply

Rebecca Harjo

Thanks for clearing that up!

Katherine

And this is why I don’t subscribe to Julep. Because they have such AMAZING deals!! I just spent 20 bucks & got the mystery grab bag along with 3 add on polishes for a total of 13 polishes! 13 Julep polishes for 20 dollars!!! ? this is madness!! (In a good way LOL) My julep polish collection is ginormous thanks to the holiday deals plus promo codes they have! The surprise factor is another thing I like because as someone mentioned, I get colors I normally would not think about trying. & hey if I don’t like some, then of course I can always gift them!

Reply ButtonReply

Teresa

How did you get the add on? When I tried to use the coupons it wouldn’t give the single free one or even the 25% off the first order.

Reply ButtonReply

Katherine

You have to add the add on polishes first & then go back & put the code in. Once you select check out, a page will pop up asking if you want to add items at a discounted price to your cart. Get 15 dollars worth (I selected 3 five dollar polishes) & then enter the code on the next page (may15) & it will knock off 15 bucks off your total. ?

Jinytte

Just wondering, has anyone ever purchased two sets of the mystery polish? Are both sets the same 10 colors or is it totally random with some dupes. For example, two sets total twenty polishes and you end up with fifteen colors and five dupes.

Anyway, got the 10 mystery polish, a polish trio for $11.99, and then added two plie wand sets for a grand total of $36.97 after May15 code. Thanks!

@jinytte quoted from the Julep site “*Purchase of multiple Mystery Polish Grab bags will result in duplicate products.”

Reply ButtonReply

Jasmine

I got two duplicate sets when I did this.

Beth

Julep… stop….. I can’t……

Well… julep just stole my target beauty box budget… sorry not sorry target

Reply ButtonReply

Mary K

Mmmmm, tempting…. I got a Julep mystery bag a few months ago and although the polish colors weren’t all to my liking, I found myself VERY impressed with the formula. It chipped way less than all my other 30+ brands of nail polish. I also like the fact the bottles are half the normal size because I never finish a bottle of polish anyway. I’m gonna ponder this one all day.

Keebler

For some reason APR15 and MAY15 codes are only taking off $4.99 instead of $15 when I have well over $30 in my cart. Anyone else have this problem?

Reply ButtonReply

Keebler

Oh, it only works with add-ons! :-/

Reply ButtonReply

Susan

And other non seasonal sale items.

Lee

Sale items from their seasonal sale count towards the $30 off but are not included from what is deducted. If you apply the code it will deduct from the cost of non sale items only.

Reply ButtonReply

Lee

I am not a big fan of polish but I love their makeup. I got the Signature Cocktail and with the May15 coupon threw on a balm for only a dollar. Julep gets all my money.

Reply ButtonReply

Marissa

Used the code MAY15 which WiIl work on the sale items when you go to checkout (add-on items) so I got the Your Happy Look – Rosewood Glow Pore Minimizing Blush and the briana blue polish for $2!! Total was under $22 for 11 polishes and a gorgeous new Blush! I’m a happy camper. That’s LESS than the price of the Blush($24) in a color I needed anyway! I love the mystery grab bags. Some of the colors are misses but I always find 2 new faves or more

Reply ButtonReply

Hufsa

Sorry, this might be a stupid question (I’m still new to Julep, lol). What are add-on items? I thought they were only available for the julep box? They may15 works, but I was only able to use it on one item (a lipstick). I’m just curious how you were able to get two items for $2 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Katherine

Hey Hufsa when you select check out a page will pop up with some add on offers at a discounted price. She added 2 items from this section, used the 15 dollars off code & only paid 2 dollars for the items she selected from the add on page. Hope that helps! ?

Luna

That’s awesome! Great job. 🙂 That’s good to know the $15 off coupons work for add-ons. I tried to use the APR15 code, but of course it didn’t work. Then, I considered using the MAYCOLOR code, but was afraid I might get a duplicate polish in the mystery box than what I picked for my free polish, of course not even putting two-and-two together that ‘last season’ means old polishes while my free polish would be a current color. Oh well… at least I can still use it for the next Julep sale (which I’m sure will be in another couple of weeks (at the most!)). 🙂

April

I bit for this sale last year and regretted it. Mustards, dark smeary blackish reds, Hartleigh…just gross, gross nail colors. In fact, I was just looking at the sale page and mentally referring to it as “the gross nail polish sale”. haha And for added info, the nail polish colors I like are bright, colorful and shimmery…I say that because some people prefer the polar opposite of me, and if that’s you, then I think you should do the mystery polishes based on what I got last year. lol

Reply ButtonReply

molly

Use MAY15 for $15 off a $30 order too

Reply ButtonReply

Teresa

When you order the sale are the color horrid?

Reply ButtonReply

molly

I’ve actually gotten some of the coolest colors I typically wouldn’t try out of the mystery packs. If I get any repeats I throw it in the gift box for my sister’s birthday or Christmas gift

Reply ButtonReply

Sylvia

It’s an end of season sale, so they will be from last season (and possibly the season before). If you did NOT like any of the colors from the last season, or only liked a very few, you will probably find them horrid. If you liked them but didn’t grab them, you will be getting the bargain of the century – or at least the season! – and be quite happy, with maybe one or two ‘misses’. At least that’s how it works for me when I grab these boxes.

Don’t forget to add your free polish with the code, so you will get at least one color you know you’ll love! I grabbed one of the Zodiac collection polishes I wanted NOW instead of waiting until they do a year-end collection with all of them – which I can’t see them NOT doing. I am impatient and cheap at the same time. lol!

Reply ButtonReply

Kat

How come with the free polish code it only takes off $11 instead of $14

Reply ButtonReply

steph

Using the May15 code made the additional one free for me so my total was actually $20.

Reply ButtonReply

chris

$11.20 is the price of their polish with a Julep Maven (subscriber) discount.

If you are a Julep subscriber, that would make the polish free. If you are not yet a subscriber, you would get $11.20 knocked off of the regular $14 price.

Hope that helps!

I am probably going to do this. Even if it means I end up with a fourth bottle of Hazel…

Reply ButtonReply

Tiffany LC

I’m wondering if my box will accept “julep has a sale” as my reason for being late today?
Probably not, let’s pray for good traffic to make up for my poor impulse control!
?

Lol… autocorrect thought I meant box not BOSS cause I write box too much…hmm, that might indicate something.

Reply ButtonReply

Ann

Got the mystery set! Thanks!! Picked the fireworks glitter polish as my freebie!

Reply ButtonReply

Carolina

I got the exact same 🙂

Mallory

MSA is KILLING ME! I finally caved and subscribed to Julep YESTERDAY (the Fireworks promo was way too tempting!) and now here I am about to give them more of my money! I love it and hate it all that the same time!!

Reply ButtonReply

caward45

It gets addicting fast. Julep is probably my favorite subscription box. I am a huge fan of their makeup.

Reply ButtonReply

Hufsa

This is so tempting, but since it’s a surprise, I’m afraid it may be a repeat of nail polishes I already have! I got three with the julep fireworks code, three from another subscription code, and then two more arriving in this month’s box. Wish it wasn’t a COMPLETE surprise, and I had some idea. Would have loved to stock up on some of the colors I really want to try!

Reply ButtonReply

Veronica

Is there specific nail polishes that we can use with promo Maycolor. I seem to be having trouble. It keeps telling me its not valid eventhough my total before adding the extra polish is $15

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Make sure the Polish is NOT from the sale section. Hope that helps resolve it! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Veronica

Yes that was it. Thank you!

dee

Couldn’t resist… Was trying to be on a no buy but Julep and MSA got me again!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Katie

Got me too!
