These little cards were included in my box. The one on the left lets me know that my earrings were handmade and fairly traded from a woman in Zambia. The one on the right has some information about Fair Trade Friday. On the reverse side, it has some information about Mercy House Kenya, Fair Trade Friday's parent organization.
And here are my lovely earrings! Hooray for hoops! I love the colors, and the size is perfect for summer! I can honestly say I don't already own anything like them at all.
Verdict: I really enjoyed my first package from Fair Trade Friday Earring OTM Club. I know these earrings were fairly traded, but honestly, $12 for a pair of earrings I like is a steal. Plus they're exotic and will make a great conversation piece. I also really like knowing that my purchase is actually helping someone support herself and her family who might otherwise not be able to. These will be great earrings to wear all summer!
