Beekman 1802 Beauty Box Subscription Box Review – April 2016
Beekman Beauty Box is a quarterly subscription box that sends Beekman 1802’s newest and bestselling beauty, soap & skin care products every 3 months. Quarterly shipping months are January, April, July & October. The box is sent out the 3rd week of the shipping month.
As soon as you open the shipping box you are greeted by bubble wrap & a packing slip.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
This box is fancier than the box Beekman uses for the food specialty club sub. This will be great to reuse! I really like the rustic ribbon latch.
All the products are wrapped up securely inside.
The Subscription Box: Beekman Beauty Box

Here is the welcome letter from the creators, Josh & Brent. This month’s box is all about spring fresh and I like how the box follows a theme. I also really like how the creators list everything given along with a small description.
Beekman 1802 Pure Goat Milk Bar Soap– FULL SIZE! $15.00
Ya’ll this is seriously the biggest bar of soap I have ever seen! The size definitely justifies the $15 price. I like how it doesn’t have a scent and lathers nicely. It left my skin soft with no gross residue so I like it and will keep using it! This soap is temporarily out of stock on the website so you will have to wait before you can get your hands on a bar.
Beekman 1802 “First Base” Lip Therapy– FULL SIZE! $4.25
I love how this chap stick is suppose to remind you of the chap stick from your childhood. In my opinion it does a great job doing that & feels great on your lips! I’ve been using this every day since I got it and I really like it- keeper!
Beekman 1802 Pure Goat Milk Face Wipes– FULL SIZE! $7.00
I really like how these wipes are both alcohol & fragrance free. I also like the packaging with the cute goats on the front. However, the wipes have an odd smell to me. The smell is hard to explain, it’s not bad but definitely not good so I will gift these!
Closer view of the Beekman 1802 “First Base” Lip Therapy. I didn’t do a swatch because it goes on clear.
Beekman 1802 Narcissus Heirloom Flower Garden Spritzer– FULL SIZE! $20.00
I was ecstatic when I saw this spray was multifunctional (body, room or linen spray) until I sprayed it. I personally do not like the smell, but I do like the concept of the product. I wish I liked the smell because the design on the bottle is pretty and would look nice in the bathroom as an air freshener. Due to the smell I will give this as a gift.
Beekman 1802 JoJoba & Lavender Goat Milk Hand Lotion– FULL SIZE! $20.00
This lotion has a nice light, fresh lavender scent and I love the thickness of it. It’s super moisturizing & leaves my hands soft. It’s also paraben & sulfate free! Right now this lotion is temporarily out of stock online, so other people must be a fan too.
Verdict: This was my first month getting the Beekman Beauty Box and it was okay for me. I like how all the products are natural and how you can buy more from the website if needed. I ended up liking 3 out of the 5 products given, especially the chap stick. I estimate the value of this box to be $66.25 which is higher than the sub purchase price. The only reason this box wasn’t a home run for me is because I didn’t care for some of the scents.
