TEA BOX EXPRESS APRIL 2016 - INFO

Each box comes with a card that describes the month’s theme and the items in the box.

TEA BOX EXPRESS APRIL 2016 - items 1

Flying Bird Botanicals Vanilla Rose Ceylon – .47 oz/6 tea bags, $9.75

Flying Bird Botanicals Bluebird Morning – .47 oz/6 tea bags, $9.75

These teas have such beautiful packaging! I love the labels. They smell delicious, too, and I’m excited to try them – I’ve loved almost every tea Tea Box Express has sent.

Zeal Mini Tongs – value: $5

These little tongs are cute – they recommend using them to get tea bags out of your water, but you can use them for lots of little things like sugar or serving snacks/appetizers, etc.

TEA BOX EXPRESS APRIL 2016 - ITEMS 2

Megpies Blueberry Tart – value: $4

Megpies Raspberry Tart - $4

These were so tasty! They were flaky and the filling was great. They’re good as they are, but they’re definitely a little better warmed up. What a fun discovery this month!

Verdict: This is a pretty good Tea Box Express for me. My favorite thing about Tea Box Express over other tea boxes (for me, personally) is that they don’t just send teas, but also treats to eat with your teas and tools/paraphernalia. The value adds up to about $33, which is pretty normal for this sub. I think that this box tends to be more about curation and discovery than a huge value, so if you’re considering this sub, just keep that in mind.

Oh my gosh, that vanilla rose ceylon tea sounds delicious! What a perfect combination of flavors. I don’t subscribe to this box but I may just have to head to that website and order the tea…
