ps-i-love-you-apr-letter

This is the letter that came with my package. April's theme is "Fit and Fabulous!" June's theme will be about summer.

ps-i-love-you-apr-jacket

Xersion Half-Zip Pullover - Value $48 (on clearance at JCPenney for $14.39)

I have pretty mixed feelings about this jacket. It fits OK and I don't have anything like it. I think it's a pretty good workout jacket, but again, we're heading into the hot months, so that's a little strange. I got less excited about it when I saw that it's on clearance at JCPenney at the moment.

ps-i-love-you-apr-snacks

Skinny Pop Popcorn - Value $1.79

Mamma Chia Strawberry Banana Chia Squeeze - Value $1.56

JoJo Bar (Chocolate) - Value $2.49

All of these are low calorie treats, which is great for those of us trying to watch our weight. I'm trying to limit processed foods these days, but I'm also trying to get more superfoods in my diet, so I'm kind of excited about the chia squeeze!

ps-i-love-you-apr-massager

Soothe by Apana Foot Massager - Value $5.50?

I couldn't find this online, but I found an identical product at REI, so I used that link. These are supposed to be really good for massaging the pressure points in your feet. I guess it's a little like acupressure?

Goody's Headbands 5-piece - Value $5.98

I'm not 100% sure these are the exact same ones as the link (Goody makes a LOT of headbands!), but I think they're pretty close. These slip right off my head. I have a hard time with headbands. It's me, not them.

ps-i-love-you-apr-socks

FILA Qwick-Dry Socks, 6-pack - Value $14.99

Wow! I'm set for athletic socks! I like that these are moisture-wicking and breathable. They're comfortable, too.

Verdict: This was a nice box from PS i love you. It was thoughtfully curated and fit the theme very well. I'm not really in love with anything I received, but I think I will use everything but the headbands. The retail values add up to $80.31, which would be fantastic for a $47 box if I didn't already know the jacket was on clearance. Using the clearance price, the value just breaks even with the cost. I am still looking forward to seeing what's in the June box, but I do hope that it includes things that are a bit more special.

Kinda seems like a trip to Target or something. I like that it’s a plus size box though.

Do I spy a $10 price sticker on the bottom of the foot massager ball?

Nothing in this box thrilled me, but I’ll be watching future boxes. So few cater to us bigger gals, so I’m excited to see how they do.

I guess since the theme is fit and fabulous the jacket does work, but I don’t like when boxes send clearance items. Since it’s a new box just starting up, I’ll give them some leeway, they’re not going to have the purchasing power of the big boxes. I’m excited for another box that comes in my size, it’s great to have options! I’ll definitely keep my eye on this box and look forward to see what’s in the next box.

Who needs a jacket in May? It’s the beginning of summer.

AMH

I’ve been wearing a hoodie more often than not this month.

Where I live it’s still in the forties in the morning, so I could use it on the days I get up early enough to go for a walk before work. If you live in California the jacket is probably useless, maybe if you work in a casual office that’s always freezing and can keep this at your desk to keep you warm.
