I wanted to give this as Mother’s Day gifts. The ladies would not like this at all. 🙁 Glad to have spoilers, thanks!

Nothing in here makes me want the box! I can’t believe they want 40.00! I wouldn’t pay nomore then 28.00 for it. There’s nothing exciting in this box except the pretty box. Glossybox I feel is slowin down on their LE… I liked the Christmas one when us subscribers all got a nice discount & great products. I feel like this is Blah, Blah, Blah … ?

Karen

There is nothing special about this box. There was a time when Glossybox was exciting and their LE were truly coveted. Now, it feels like they’re just calling it in and hoping some sucker would pay. Sad

Blah. Where are ya’ll seeing an eye shadow palette in this box?

It’s in the list of Not Pictured:

No thank you, and why is Laura Gellar products( blush) in every box? Not very special for Mother’s Day! I have purchased their boxes in the past and they had curated a lovely box for Mother’s Day.

I am bummed ! I am fairly new to sub boxes , but have gotten some nice ones from Glossy Box when I first started (a year ago ) dabbling in boxes. I ordered 3 of these for some of our many mother’s , (step-mom’s, mother -in law, grandma’s…) now I am regretting it ! I can’t just give the boxes , I will have to break them up and create my own bags and take things from other sub boxes …. Also think I am cancelling my monthly Glossy box . It seems in the time I have received it , they have gone from something special and exciting to open to as so many of you said “yawn” . Sad that several of my boxes lately seem to be under- whelming. Happy I have Birchbox and Ipsy to keep me happy ! They are also some of the cheaper options . Anyone want any of the items from these boxes let me know as I was a sucker ! When I get them , haven’t seen mine yet!

I think there will be a bunch of these in the fall $15 clearance sale

Where? Gilt city?

I agree?

At $15 I’d get one or two for the eye palette alone, but not for $40. I’d rather spend $40 on a Too Faced eye palette that I will love.

Karisha

lol nope!!

Cindy

Not for me!

How they manage to bring such a boring box, even without their usual black eyeliner and mascara??? Easy pass…. The box is gorgeous though.

This would make a very nice gift for someone who does not get subscription boxes on a regular basis. For me, I have several rarely used sea salt sprays from boxes, most recently the Beach Babe from the Target box. I love the Laura Gellar Blush & Brighten but I already have one (or three), with another on the way in the Birchbox, and as pointed out above they last forever. The only interest for me would be the eyeshadow palette. I have plenty of cleansers, top coats and lipsticks. So, sadly, no I won’t be getting this box. Too much to spend just for an eye palette 🙁

BORING! I generally like the Glossybox Mothers Day boxes ~for me, though, I’m a mother to a dog & cat ~ but this one is a super-easy pass. There’s absolutely nothing special here.

Maribel:)

It is a gorgeous box, wish I was actually excited about the items! The box is only ok tho so I can pass unless a great deal comes out 😉

Anyone know of any coupons?

Aurienne

They had a one day special ON Mother’s Day for $29.00 plus if you use Ebates you get $2.75 back, making it worth it, if only for trades. Haven seen any coupon codes since.

I DO like the lipstick (if they are all that color), even though Doucce lipsticks are so freaking dry.

Sea salt hair products are so played out…weren’t they popular three years ago? I didn’t even like them then, when nearly EVERY sub box was handing them out.

Laura Gellar is great! With strobing and highlighting all the rage one of her highlighters would’ve been perfect. I must have 10 blushes from her in deluxe sample to full size from sub boxes already. Not special! Cream products are better for older skin; powders can settle in lines and look terrible.

The palette isn’t anything special, one color is unique and the rest can be found in any neutral palette. At least it’s a “natural” line.

A cleansing foam. Really? I’m a young mom and even I would prefer a deeply moisturizing wrinkle fighting sleep mask or something akin to that.

Top coat polish? Why include a product that is so ubiquitous and not special at ALL? Lame.

I’ll probably have it all up for trade.

I would wait a little while. Based on the comments below, I think this box might not sell super well. So they will be reducing the price or offering codes later (especially if they have any left when it is too late for Mother’s Day delivery).

Danielle

Disappointing, but I just placed a Sephora order for their 15% off sale – so it’s probably a good thing I’m not tempted by this one!

I want to try Laura Gellar’s blushes, but luckily I got the curated Birchbox this month that includes one. I like to wear my hair straight, I have about a million eyeshadows, I don’t need a new cleanser, Doucce lipsticks are meh, and I have very specific nail products I like to use. Easy pass for me!

Jen

What 15% off sale? I didn’t get any emails, and I don’t see anything on the website 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Ragan

Starts today for Rouge, tomorrow for VIB, not sure about BI. There are codes to get 15% off. (General use codes that can be used more than once during the sale.)

Nicky

It’s sad….I’m more interested in the box than the products.

Jen

me too!!

I was waiting for this one but now that I see it I’m not impressed. Pretty box though!

That box is GORGEOUS.

Alas, that’s the only good thing I see here. The last time I got a Doucce lipstick, it was probably the worst I’ve ever tried! SO bad!! Also, I have yet to find a Laura Gellar product that I like.

Reply ButtonReply

Emily

Totally agree about Doucce lipstick. The one in the February box smelled and tasted awful, so even though I liked the color it went in the trash after one try.

Sara

Ugh I love Laura Geller so much! Those blushes last forever. I’m trying to resist this one.

Reply ButtonReply

Ann

Looks like a lovely box, however my mother is 72 and she definitely wouldn’t want beachy windswept hair! Ha This box is more for ourselves I think.

Reply ButtonReply

Barbie

Again I ask the question: Is it bad that I only want the box (not the products)? 🙂

Right there with you.

I wish I liked the products so I’d have an excuse to get the pretty box!
