Each box comes with a card detailing the items included with pictures.

beautyfix-april-2016-juice-beauty

Juice Beauty GREEN APPLE Age Defy Moisturizer - FULL SIZE! Value $45

This item alone makes the box for me! I love Juice Beauty products, and their signature green apple line works well with my skin - no irritation ever! This moisturizer absorbs quickly, isn't too heavy, and works for day and night.

beautyfix-april-2016-klorane

Klorane Dry Shampoo With Oat Milk – Natural Tint - 1 oz Value $6.25

This dry shampoo is designed for brunettes to avoid any white residue. I've been using the regular Klorane Dry Shampoo for years without any white residue issues, so I guess I'm good either way!

Perfect Formula Pink Gel Coat - 5 ml Value $8

This coat goes directly on your nails and is designed to instantly strengthen, brighten, and protect your nails. I love that it dried instantly, and gave my nails a subtle pink hue. If you like a very low-maintenance nail look, this would be a good fit. And if you just want to take a break from polish to strengthen your nails, this should work, too.

beautyfix-april-2016-mascara

SmartFX Volume Extend Mascara in Black - FULL SIZE! Value $20

This mascara is awesome! Great lash definition, volume, and length! It wasn't instant like the packaging said - I needed to apply quite a few layers, but I'm so happy with the results. This is definitely a mascara I would buy again in the future.

beautyfix-april-2016-patchology

patchology FlashPatch Eye Gels - Value $2

I've liked the other patchology sheet masks I've sampled, so I was excited to give these a try. The only issues I have with eye gels is if they slip off, or if they irritate my skin, and these passed both tests! And you only have to wear them for 5 minutes! They left my skin feeling refreshed, too!

Also - I've seen eye patch gels in quite a few subscription boxes over the past year - but I just discovered  lip patch gels! If you've tried these and recommend them let me know - I'm pretty curious about these!

AHAVA Dead Sea Crystal Osmoter X6 Facial Serum - 5 ml Value $12

This serum left my skin feeling moisturized and it provided a little sheen, too. It is fragranced, so that may not work for some with sensitive skin.

beautyfix-april-2016-cotz

SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 - Sample

One thing you can almost always expect from BeautyFix - tiny SkinCeutical samples! This cream is rich and makes my skin feel so soft - I'll enjoy it while I can!

CoTZ Face Natural Skin Tone SPF 40 - .35 oz Value $4.70

The matte finish on this formula looks and feels amazing. And this tiny tube is pretty full, so I should get a few good uses out of it!

Bliss Fabulous Drench ‘n’ Quench Cream-to-Water Lock-in Moisturizer - 5 ml Value $3.80

(Good to know for swaps - inner foil seal)

This formula is a gel/cream hybrid. I like how it feels, and it absorbs quickly, but the scent is a little too strong at first for me.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $101! I think BeautyFix almost always delivers a great value compared to the cost, and they did that again this month. This is one of my favorite boxes from BeautyFix ever - I'll use everything besides the Bliss sample, and I love getting a full size mascara and moisturizer!

The green apple moisturizer expires 10/17. Just like the bonus skin medics travel kit

I’m thinking of trying this subscription in the future, but I’m concerned about the comments I’ve seen talking about soon-to-be-expired products. Does that happen often? Thanks for any info!

I am attempting to use the 50% off deal for the first box and am running into trouble. The link states that the discount will be applied at checkout. I have attempted several times and I still have no discount. I have been wanting to try this subscription and this deal came at a perfect time, but it seems as if I’m going to just end up missing out. Any tips?

I used the five dollar off coupon for the March box…ordered it Late March. I received it then they told me my next box would be May?? So I called and they said I was due to receive the March box the same time people were getting their April boxes so I wasn’t getting an April box. I was upset cuz I loved the April box so they sent it to me free of charge!!! I am so happy with their boxes and customer service I feel like I will never cancel!! Maybe call them and see if they would honor the half off deal or something else… Hope that helps

There is usually one item each month that I absolutely will not use (the lip tint was not a flattering color for me personally), however the two or three items that I. Freaking. Love. more than makes up for it.

Ugh just got my box and my mascara was completely busted, like brush completely broke off in the base and the base was cracked! I hope their CS is good about sending a replacement?

Son of a….why!!! Every time I’ve canceled a box lately, the very next month’s is ridiculously stellar.

How have I angered You, oh good and glorious Box Gods? I mean, I’m not saying they need to go out of business when I unsub, but can’t a gal at least get a sub par showing at the very least? It helps the subbie soul, that smug justification, don’tcha know?

Great looking box – just resubbed. Thanks, Liz!

Bought a Beauty Fix ages ago and semi-liked it, but half of the products were expired or about to expire it and some of it was more for older women (hair loss, neck wrinkle cream, etc) so I cancelled my sub. Haven’t been impressed since then, but when you revealed the spoilers on this I bought a one-time box. Just got it today and I actually LOVE it. I’m okay with a few random tiny samples when there are some good full size products to balance it out (the Juice Beauty moisturizer, the pink gel coat, the mascara).

I agree! I just got my first box and those 3 items (Juice moisturizer, mascara, and pink gel coat) make it well worth it for me. The rest is just fun stuff to try.

I really liked the beauty tool aspect of this box. I was kinda willing to overlook the expired products but this box of odd and end samples made me cancel. I’m ready to try Ipsy or something else with these kind of sample sizes that is more reasonable in cost.

Is this subscription open? I know previously the sub was in a waitlist mode. The juice beauty product has me intrigued…….

Heather

I wasn’t too excited when I saw the spoilers but I waited to received it. Big miss for me. Plus, the cap on my Cotz face tinted sunscreen was off and got all over everything. 🙁

I can’t wait to get my hands on the full size juice beauty moisterizer. That product alone makes me glad I didn’t pull the trigger and cancel this one. I kept getting great products that turned out to be old or expired. Grrr! So happy they turned things around in such a great way. And WITHOUT throwing in a bunch of hair loss prevention products!!!

I’m wondering if anyone has used the nail product yet. It looks likes it is similar to Dior Nail Glow, which I’ve heard good things about. The price has just kept me from getting the Dior, so I wondered if everyone liked this.

I love the pink gel. Ipsy had it in their bag last month, I think, maybe the one before. This stuff is amazing. Creates a soft pink hue. Really nice.

suzy

oh wow, never mind, I went to dermstore and the full size is even more than the Dior!

Monah

I was able to get the travel size of this. I was really unhappy in that it starting chipping immediately. There are way better drug store brands

I love the the AHAVA serum, best serum ever( for me.)
My son is getting married today. I have so much makeup, hair products, lotions ….
I make baskets full of stuff and placed it in the bridal room, for the ladies to use and take home!

Every time I check this website, I end up making a purchase. I’ve been very bad this month already 😉

This site is so good, yet so bad. I check it way too often. I love the spoilers for boxes I am not willing to take chances. This box is a great example.

This month just felt like it was missing something. I absolutely love the Juice moisturizer and it more than covers the price of the sub (double) so I’m happy with the value overall. I’m also excited to try the Ahava Osmoter since it was on my list of skincare products to test already. I have custom made artificial nails so products like the base coat are useless to me. It’s also just hard to get excited about utilitarian products in general, including top coats. The Klorane is sitting with the rest of my dry shampoo stockpile and will eventually be used but since it appears often in this and other subs it doesn’t excite me. The mascara was also a great addition so I was very happy with that. I’ve tried and liked the eye gels so that’s another win. The rest of the products (samples, really) don’t do much for me since with skincare it’s all but impossible to truly evaluate effectiveness using such a tiny amount of product with so few applications possible. Even though I like the majority of the main products I felt the box needed something more of substance to round it out, but that’s based only on the volume included in their past boxes; this beats Glossybox hands down every month for only a few dollars more.

I agree, this month was rather lackluster. What I do like is they give a variety of different types of products. Something for your hair, some makeup, skin care, as mask, usually something for the body and some sort of tool. I have other subs for more make-up they items ( if I get another red lipstick I think I’ll scream). I had thought they were getting better at making it not feel like it was just a box of stuff they were trying to get rid of. Tiny samples really feel like they just cheapen a box and I wouldn’t miss them if they were gone.
I think what this box feels wanting to me because of the lack of the tool that we’ve seen in beauty fix boxes lately. Hair brush, mirror , lash curler, makeup brushes. Last months bag left something to be desired.
No tool this month = no excitement for me. Hint hint beauty fix… Tweeters or a glass file would be nice.

Can you wear the pink gel coat as a base coat for polish? Or is it meant to be worn alone?

chrisandrobwatson

The box says it can be worn either way!

When does beauty fix normally send out their boxes? Also, when do they take the money out of your account??

I received an email that my order had been placed and had a tracking number on April 4th. Hope that helps!
