This month’s them was Guardians. Inside the mini-mag you’ll find information about the items in the box and other exclusive content.

J.D. Canoe Rental Shirt – Value $10?

This exclusive shirt is referencing the first scene in Guardians of the Galaxy! A young Peter Quill is wearing this shirt as he’s being abducted! I like these subtle reference t-shirts.

Dumbledore POP – Value $8.55 on Amazon

Yes! Dumbledore! You could have received one of 4 Harry Potter POPs – Harry, Hermione, Ronald, or Dumbledore!

Here’s a closeup of the detail. A new POP to add to the collection!

Halo: Hunters in the Dark Book – $11.76 on Amazon

I had no clue that Halo also had books. From Amazon:

It is 2555, more than two years after the Master Chief went missing-in-action following a decisive conflict on Installation 00—the massive, extragalactic Forerunner construct known as the Ark—as part of the final chapter in humanity’s bloody thirty-year struggle against the overwhelming forces of the Covenant. Now, as a tenuous peace exists between the humans and the Elites, a startling scientific discovery is made…and the riddle behind its Forerunner origins could very well seal the fate of the entire galaxy within a matter of weeks. In order to unravel these dangerous secrets, a heroic, hastily formed coalition of humans and Elites must attempt to overcome their differences as they embark on a covert mission back to the Ark—an astonishing, enigmatic place beyond comprehension from which few have returned and where mortal danger

Transformers Figurine and 3D Puzzle Piece – Value $4-5 on Amazon

I’m pulling this value from a different figure, but guessing it’s pretty close. I’m not a big Transformers fan, but this is a cool little figure with a collector’s base to stand it on.

Ghostbusters Wallet – Value $12.99

I received this wallet in last July’s Nerd Block. Back then it was exclusive, but now it’s available for purchase online.

This is the outer-side unfolded – really awesome, but the inside is even better.

Here’s the inside! Seeing Stay-Puft reminds me to recommend Ghostbusters Deviations #1! This just released and is a fun take on what might have happened if the Ghostbusters never crossed the streams to defeat Gozer!

Heroes Godsend #1 – Value $3.99

This issue of Heroes: Godsend is a 5-part arc on a character from the show, Heroes Reborn. I really tried to get into Heroes, I think I actually watched all of season one and quickly faded out on interest which I’ve always found odd – it’s right up my alley!

Verdict: This month’s ZBox has over $50 in value, which is great for a $30 box! I thought this was a good take on the Guardian theme as well, cleverly spanning across numerous fandoms. I’ve really enjoyed the past two shirts in ZBox, and I just got the POP and a Top box today, and it has an amazing shirt as well! They’re doing a great job sending me shirts that I’m wearing all the time!

What did you think of the March ZBox?

  1. Hey ZBOX looks great but I heard a lot of problems regarding its cancellation. Do you have any problems with that?
