This month the theme was Rodeo!  My Texas Market says "Rodeo season takes place across Texas this time of year, with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo running through the month of March.  This box is inspired by rodeo season and Texas traditions, with a nod to the HLSR, to bring a little Texas rodeo to you no matter where you are."

TM3

Tejas Chocolate - Single-Origin Chocolate - Tres Leches - $7.00

This is good chocolate.  I can tell that the chocolate itself is really high quality - though I can't taste the tres leches flavor at all.  It just tastes like chocolate to me!

ATX Homemade Jerky - Original Peppered Beef Jerky - $6.99

So, obviously, I'm not a beef jerky person, and my husband wasn't here to try this one.  My Texas Market says that this beef jerky is made from grass-fed angus cows, and is sourced from farms in Llano, Texas.  It only has 7 ingredients, and it is free of preservatives and gluten, and all-natural.

TM4

Park Bark - Republic of Texas Magnet - $9.95?

I can't find this on the Park Bark website, but this is a really nicely made magnet.  The wood used to make this magnet is from a Texas pecan tree that was cut down in Park Bark's city.

Basic Foodism - BBQ Sauce - $7.00

This is an all-natural 'thick and spicy,' barbeque sauce. I really enjoyed the flavor of this, and My Texas Market recommends it for both BBQ and as a dipping sauce since it has a 'great tomato flavor that is not overly sweet, with just the right amount of spice."

TM5

Kuhdoo Soap Co. - Texas Gentleman Shave Bar - $10.00

This smells so good - exactly like you would expect an older, grandfather to smell like!  I have no idea how to describe that smell, but it is fabulous!

Garden Dreams Houston, Texas Two-Step Jam - $5.00?

This is really good.  I thought it was an unusual combination at first, but I love it!  I made croissants with cream cheese and this jam, and I have to say, they were delicious.

Verdict:  The value of this box comes out to about $45.94, with my guesses on a few of the items.  I really liked this box!  I think they stuck to the theme really well.  My Texas Market does really well with sticking to their themes, and really knocks it out of the park every month!

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

Mindy

your review on the chocolate bar made me chuckle, the tres leches means 3 milk, so it should taste like milk chocolate 🙂

I am so curious to try this box out, but they charge $9 for shipping to me. That kills it when its already $35 a month.
