MIB-March 2016-first look

As soon as I opened the box I saw this beautiful shade of green paper and felt the Irish vibes immediately.

MIB-March 2016-welcome letter front

MIB-March 2016-welcome letter back

Each MyIrelandBox comes with a welcome letter from the MyIrelandBox team. The letter lists each product included in the box along with a description of where it comes from, what it means and why they chose the product for this month's box. At the end of the letter they also let you know the upcoming theme for April's box.

Shamrock booklet by Kilcoe Studios - €8.50 ($9.49 USD)

The art in this book is amazing and the pages are filled with photos of every type of Shamrock imaginable! The watercolors in the booklet are so beautiful and detailed. The artist of this booklet also makes cards, calendars and other products. This booklet is perfect for anyone of Irish heritage.

Bold Bunny Card - €2.95 ($3.29 USD)

I love the “green is the new black” quote- perfect for March! This card is nicely made and I like having extra blank cards on hand. I will definitely use this!

Green Gorgeous Egg Cosies

These egg cosies are 100% wool felt and the cutest ever! I’ve never used an egg cosie before but these are so adorable it makes me want to go make an egg right now just to use them. The cosies are made in Ireland and have natural thermal insulation properties to keep your eggs as warm as possible. With Easter right around the corner I am already thinking of great ways to incorporate these in our Easter lunch spread.

Conker Tree Studios Shamrock Decoration - $9.75

The welcome letter says this is perfect to hang on the rear view mirror of your car or in your kitchen. I think it will be cute on a dresser knob in the living room for St. Patrick’s Day! It is so cool that this is stamped “Made in Ireland”, very legit.

Siobhan Steele Ceramics

The MyIrelandBox team found these ceramics at the Showcase Ireland Fair. According to the welcome letter the saying on the bottle means “Take it Easy” and is used frequently in the native Irish-speaking Dingle Peninsula. The heart is to remind you to enjoy life. These are so cute and I can’t wait to put them on my shelf! They are nicely made and my favorite items in the box.

Verdict: I liked the MyIrelandBox this month! I will use every item and the ceramics were my favorite. It's nice to surround yourself with uplifting reminders and the ceramics are perfect for that. I recommend this box to anyone that wants an international surprise or something different than your typical sub. This would also make a great gift for an Irish friend!

What do you think about March’s MyIrelandBox? Is anyone subscribing to the April box?
