Checkered Electric Outfit - Value $54

This is the outfit that I chose this month for my ten-year-old. Can you believe it's already time for shorts weather again? It is down here in Georgia, anyway. Every year summer takes us by surprise and my older son never has any shorts. Not this year! These are cute and lightweight; they will be really comfy. As usual, the tee is very soft and colorful!

Checkered Dare Devil Outfit - Value $54

This outfit is for my eight-year-old. He has blue eyes and I think the color of this tee will really set his eyes off. Plus it's really soft! Yes, I got them matching shorts, but I swear I don't dress them like twins (usually)! FabKids has an ever-rotating collection of styles, but their selection is a little limited. These are the first shorts of the season. I think we have all their other shorts already!

Verdict: FabKids is awesome! This month we got around $108 worth of clothes for about $70, which is a great value! My sons both love wearing their clothes from FabKids, too. They both consider their clothes stylish and comfortable. What more could I ask for?

What do you think of FabKids for boys? Which outfits did you pick out this month?

I finally tried Fabkids. We received our first outfit choose a shirt and cargo pants.

My impression is that the shirt is a little better quality than Carter’s (where I shop a lot because quality is decent and I always have a coupon code). It might be on a Gymbiree level but after only one wash not sure.
The pants are actually the saddest pair of pants I have ever purchased. They are paper thin. They do not appear that way on line. So I was super disappointed in the pants.

I was debating giving them another try but then I saw the same blue motorcycle/dirtbike shirt and gave in. (Almost ordered the guitar shirt here too but picked up a trio lack if shirts I like). The shirts were again a decent quality.

I would say that this is a good sub if you like non character/merchandise apparel. I might try a pair of shorts or a different pair of pants in the future.

That being said I don’t think this is a good value sub. It’s like the MSRP (manufacturer’s suggested retail price) which is artificial high to make you feel like you are getting a deal. I buy (way too much) kids clothes. You can find similar quality clothes for less. You can even find it for much less if you get in a children’s store’s e-mail list to get coupons (or just search online for coupon codes).
