Reginato Torrontes-Chardonnay Brut

Nebel Rheinhessen Riesling

Iconic SK Chardonnay

Wine Awesomeness offers 3 different subscription options: All red, all white (with a chance of rose or bubbly), or a mix (with a chance of rose or bubbly). I decided to go with the white this month. (They make it easy to switch your preferences in your account every month).

So far I’ve tried the two wines on the right. I really like both of them, but the riesling is my favorite. (In fact, I’m sipping it as I write this review!) I’m saving the Reginato Torrontes-Chardonnay Brut for something to celebrate (or maybe just orange juice to mix with it – we’ll see what comes first!)

All the whites weren’t too sweet this month which works for me. I think that’s because some the brunch food pairings are sweet (like french toast), so these wines provide a nice balance.

Verdict: I really like Wine Awesomeness! I think the pricing is reasonable – $15 per bottle shipped to my door, and I like the detail of the info booklet that is included. I’m a wine novice, but I still find it approachable and fun! Based on my preference for the Riesling, I now know that I favor a light-bodied wine with high acidity!

Plus this is a wine box that ships to Pennsylvania! (If you live in a state where it is difficult/impossible to get alcohol in the mail, then you may understand why I’m so excited about this).

One other thing to mention about Wine Awesomeness that I appreciate:

You can skip, change your subscription preferences, or cancel your subscription from your online account.

Have you tried Wine Awesomeness? What do you think of the wine selections?

Wine Awesomeness finds some of the "coolest, craveworthy" wines to share with subscribers each month. Select three bottles of red, white, or mixed for your subscription. Each shipment includes a magazine including pairings, recipes, playlists and more.

I was all enthusiastic about signing up for this but lately my sinuses have totally been getting clogged up whenever I drink even a little wine. I think I’m just going to have to stop because I’d rather be able to breathe. Darn allergies. (Wine allergies do exist…)

Also, their customer support is awesome (like their wine!). I have the six bottle subscription and I’ve been enjoying it the past few months.

That’s great to hear! 🙂

I got a sub to Club W from my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day, but the Feb box is long gone now! Maybe I need to get this free (well $22.50) to tide us over until the March Club W ships… Thanks Liz!
