This parcel is sent via USPS 2 Day Priority Mail, so it arrived in the standard USPS packaging. The box inside was anything but standard! The outer box is a nice glossy black, with a paisley inner box. It opens like a little drawer…they definitely score points for a cool box. This month there was a postcard detailing all of the items included, which is always helpful!
Das Boom Industries Shampoo 3.3 oz. - $10.00
This smells amazing! This shampoo is sulfate free, and enriched with lots of good stuff to keep your scalp healthy. The Menswear Club says this on their card: "Whether you have a manly mane or are nearly bare: keep whatever hair you have soft and healthy with this daily shampoo." It washed clean out, and didn't have that slimy feel that some sulfate free shampoos can have.
Das Boom Industries Comb - $5.00?
I can't find this comb online sold separate from a set, so I'm guessing on the value. It's a very basic comb, with the tines on one side closer together. It seems quite sturdy, so it should come in handy for travel!
Men In Cities Luxury Love Socks - $12.00
These are really nice socks. I know, they're just socks, but the fabric feels great, and they feel like they will hold their shape after multiple washings! They're super soft, and very stretchy. I think these will stay up all day for sure. My husband said they were very comfortable! Plus, with the word 'love' on the cuff in three different languages, they were absolutely perfect for a Valentine's Day Box!
Kiko Leather - Minimalist Card Holder - $15.00
This is a really nice card holder. I was able to fit about 6-7 cards into it without stretching the leather much, and the cards still slid out pretty easily when I needed to access them. I think this would be a great wallet for a man that likes to carry as little as possible (like my husband!). The leather seems really nice quality too!
Crosby & Co. - Tiger's Eye & Skull Bracelet - $75.00
This is a gorgeous bracelet - and the value of it is outstanding for the price range for this box! My husband personally doesn't wear jewelry, but this is such a simple style that I think most men who do wear jewelry could work this into their accessories easily!
Verdict: The value of this box is about $117, which I think is awesome! The Menswear Club always does a fabulous job curating the boxes they send out, and this one was so well curated, I was impressed all over again. There's a wide variety of items this month, that the box hit almost everything! The other really great thing is that if you're a guy that doesn't work in an office, or works in a more casual office, this box would work perfectly for you - there are no ties, and no flower lapel pins!
