  1. There IS a fix for the loose blush. Most of the time, it is that the glue didn’t hold.
    It can easily be fixed by putting simple Elmer’s glue on the metal part of the back of the part holding the blush and holding in the compact until it is dry.

    Is it really fair to criticize a very nice product because their glue needs re-gluing?

  2. For the tiniest of nanoseconds I thought oh should I give them a second chance (I never got the Xmas LE box despite ordering Nov 18) then I read these comments…….answer is still…… PS for me!

  3. I received two Today boxes, both with broken Ciate blush/bronzes. The glue didn’t seem to work for anyone’s compact. The problem is, even if it arrived without crumbling, it will in the near future. It’s not secure and the rattling about will break it. Besides, it’s pretty annoying to try and use when just a brush stroke moves the entire thing! They promised me a replacement over a month ago, which I too have yet to see. However, they seem to have quite the surplus on hand to use as a promo. ? One would think they would ship the replacements first before promising them to new customers! That’s a slap in their loyal customers’ face, if you ask me.

  4. I’ve had a few boxes (a special edition, and one of my monthly ones) that had a different weight listed than the others people posted. So I wouldn’t be concerned about that, but it’s bummer so many boxes are trapped in limbo land

Well, I tried to use the referral link and sign up but I keep getting “uh oh, looks like the popsugar box isn’t here” so I tried a few times only to see that I’ve been CHARGED 3 times, but no subscription has actually gone through. Now I’m beginning to see why people complain about popsugar. Looks like I have to take more time out of my day to call to make sure those charges get reversed. What a waste! Guess you just lost a potential subscriber popsugar.

    • There is no number to call Popsugar; the best you can do is send an e-mail. If you don’t get a response, try posting on their Facebook page.

  6. My target box originally said it weighed 1.7lb like everyone else, but I checked it today and now it says 3.8lb….anyone else have this happen? It’s definitely the target box as I cancelled my monthly sub a while ago.

    • I think that all we’ve established its that nothing is set in stone when you are dealing with popsugar.

  7. Well, my Luxor box has been stuck in Atlanta for 5 days, so for some of us the box anguish is widespread. Just saying.

  8. Does anyone know how much weight their monthly box is showing during shipment? Mine is saying 1.4lbs and the box is 8×8. I can’t imagine all the things in that box weigh that little and fit in a box that small. With all these complaints, I’m paranoid that my box is missing things.

    • My Target box weighs 1.7 lbs according to Fed Ex. \

      Monthly Jan. box is 3.5 pounds for book so I can learn to turn my undies into origami. πŸ™‚

      • Thank you for responding. That’s why I’m paranoid. My monthly box says it weighs 1.4 lbs and everyone else’s weighs 3.5. What in the world did they send to me? Unless it’s a box of money, I’m not gonna be happy.

        • I don’t know for sure why your box is showing a lower weight but I can tell you that they have on their FB that they are giving away 10 of the Today Show boxes. It was very light. Hate to either spoil a surprise or get your hopes up but it could be that you won one.

          • Michelle, I think it’s possible that someone else helping with shipping weighed the boxes and came up with 1.4 lbs. It’s a small difference– about the same difference as my weight for the past 3 days. Grrr

          • Thank you! That would be wonderful but if that was true, then they didn’t send my monthly box. It is due to be delivered tomorrow. I’m anxiously waiting to see.

        • The Target box weighs 1.7 pounds ( usually). Did you order one?
          I think you may have a box that they left the clothing origami book out of.

          • Hi! I bought the target one also. That one is showing the 1.7 lbs like everyone else’s.

    • Mine says one weighs 1.4 but I didn’t see a size – I am afraid to look. The other says 1.7. Some people say theirs weigh 3 lbs. scary – well here’s hoping.

      • I guess we will have to compare boxes. I’m gonna just keep hoping my monthly box that weighs 1.4lbs is a box of money…haha

  9. After hearing issue after issue with POPSUGAR I can say that I will not be making any purchases from them until these things get cleared up. I had an issue with the Cake Mix exploding in my December box. I was able to clean everything off (although I shouldn’t have had to) but emailed for a replacement mix…that was over 6 weeks ago. Received a response yesterday that the item is on back order and it will ship “at some point”. Ummm ok. Thankful that it wasn’t a big ticket item but still annoying that they seem to have a very difficult time rectifying problems with items and/or billing. They get a lot of referrals from MSA, I only hope people are reading the comments on these posts before being so quick to subscribe!

  10. Popsugar did not include this blusher in my Today Show box. I paid for the box in November; took almost a month to ship. The blusher was a significant portion of the box value. Emailed customer service three times, but still no product. Had to open a dispute with credit card. Thanks Popsugar!

    • Got my compact in Today SE. It was broken and not replaced so far.

  11. NEVER would I recommend them to anyone. I subscribed early November and didn’t receive November or December’s boxes til the end of December. I emailed them more times than I can count, even reached out on Facebook & Instagram. I’ve been trying to be patient this month and was going to email them tomorrow, but I just got my shipment email a couple hours ago. STILL! Sending out a monthly box when its already half way over SUCKS! The only reason I stay is because of the box items & variety. If there’s anything similar out there within the same price range I’d love to know!

  12. I *JUST* got my shipping notification at 12:00 pm for the January box and when I clicked the link, it does that it has been “on it’s way to me” since the 13th… It’s supposed too arrive tomorrow, which is a nice surprise, but I hate that I’m getting it so much later than usual. Grr.

    • Katherine I noticed the same!! I kept checking to make sure I was still getting a box, and earlier today there was still nothing. Then this afternoon I was sent an email with my tracking and it’s supposed to come tomorrow. Err, Wednesday, which is now technically today. YAYYY! But lame for getting the tracking a week late.

      • Lol Andrea I’m glad I’m not the only one! Although there is something to be said for not having to keep pulling up the tracking number only to find that the “shipping information has been received”… πŸ˜‰

  13. I definitely had the wrong address listed on my Target box when I got the shipping notification today. FedEx said they require the sender to change the address so I requested t from customer service. Anyone else have had the experience? Did PS fix it with FedEx?
    (Have no idea how it happened, seeing as they have the right address for my regular sub…)

  15. I wouldn’t refer anyone to this box based on my experiences with their customer service, and certainly not for a blush. If and when they get their act straightened out, then I might consider it – but until then, nah.

  16. Mine was broken too, STILL waiting on a replacement. Was missing the bracelet from the December box as well!Still haven’t received this months box either!

    • Was the powder smashed all over? Or did the whole blush/bronzer dish thing fall out of the compact but the makeup is intact? That’s how mine arrived and I didn’t know if it was with saying anything to them or not?

        • I think it is worth saying something.
          If I was, ciante London, I would want to know my product had a major problem. My blusher/bronzer flipped out and I’ll glue it. I contacted CS who promised to replace, but nothing so far. Did anyone get a TODAY SE that looked like someone had rummaged through it? I think they need to investigate their fulfillment center. I love the subscription but have not enjoyed CS.

          • Thanks – I sent a them a message so we’ll see. I haven’t actually used it yet, so it hasn’t been a problem yet, but I can see how it would be annoying and/or will eventually break

    • I totally understand. Finally got an email saying my box is on the way. HOWEVER – not which one. I wrote to CS, and it looks as though they are making an effort to remedy my complaints. I do want a new compact.

  18. mine was broken… though promised a replacement, nothing yet. Also, have not received my January box nor my Target SE.- frustrating. no shipping info . I love this subscription box; however, it seems they are hit and miss in the CS department. I have watched unboxing videos that are very complimentary about PSMH CS. my experience is not so good.
    LOVE THIS SUBSCRIPTION but do not like wondering about where it is.

  20. This item was in the Today Show Holiday box. It’s very pretty and I think is extremely versatile for various skin tones.
