Pop In A Box is a UK subscription box that sends you Funko POPs every month! They've started to ship to the US earlier this year, and I finally caved and gave it a shot! You can sign up to receive 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, or 12 POPs each month. This is a review of a 6-POP delivery.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The Subscription Box: Pop In A Box

The Price: $9.99 + Shipping (My shipping was about $5)

The Products: Pop In A Box allows you to grow your POP! collection every month with a guaranteed mystery Funko POP! Vinyl that's not in your collection.

Ships to: US, UK, and Canada

This box got to me much faster than expected this month, about 1 week or less after being billed - which was a pleasant surprise, so it looks like they're trending the right direction with shipping to the US!

I changed my subscription to a 6-pack of POPs! I wanted to see if the no-duplicate-POP system was working and if it affected my delivery.

Here's a quick run-down of creating your PIAB account:

The first thing you'll want to do is set up your collection. This is an important step to ensure that you don't receive a duplicate POP or a POP that you may not care about.

individual POP

You can cycle through POPs and selection options for each one. Mark 'I HAVE THIS' for POPs you have and avoid duplicates. Give POPs a thumbs down to let PIAB know that you don't want it, and mark it as thumbs up to let them know that you're really interested in that specific POP.

PIAB collection

There are a TON of POPs to go through. I haven't even gone through all of them, but in the end, you'll have built your own collection! This will help you keep track of what you have, and it will help PIAB know what to send.

Pop In A Box Subscription Box Review + Coupon January 2016 - POPs

What a beautiful sight! No duplicates either!

Here are the POPs that I received:

Sir Bedevere - Monthy Python and the Holy Grail

Evan - Superbad

Sarah Manning - Orphan Black

Roadblock - G.I. Joe

Cosima Niehaus - Orphan Black

Cobra Commander - G.I. Joe

I had a blast opening the box to find out which POPs I received this month! While there are certainly no bells and whistles to this box, there is still a fun surprise each month. If you're a super collector, you'll probably want to go with a larger amount of POPs per month, because you'll be receiving the biggest discount and filling out your collection quickest.

Verdict: I'm having fun with this subscription! I love getting POPs, and this is the only subscription where I know that I'll be getting both POPs that I want, and POPs that I do not have!

I’ve been thinking about getting this box. I just couldn’t do it, but you may have changed my mind. Was everything you received lines you said you wanted? That packaging tho. ? I’m surprised you didn’t have at least one that was wrecked.

So far, in the two months I’ve been getting this, I’ve only received POPs that I hadn’t put in the ‘POP Grave’, and these POPs were all ones that I had given a ‘thumbs up’ to as well. The packaging is definitely a concern for a collector wanting to keep them in the box, but since I take mine out, it hasn’t been an issue.
Thanks for reading!
