Five Four Club is a monthly men’s clothing subscription service. You take a brief survey when you sign up (sizes and style preferences), and then each month they send you on average 2-3 new clothing pieces or accessories. For reference, my husband’s style profile is “T-Shirt and jeans.”
I've been subscribing March 2013 and in general, is very happy with the quality of the clothing and the value - especially the t-shirts. (We’ve found the sizing to be similar to American Eagle’s sizing if that helps!)
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Rochelle Jacket
There were only two items this month, and the major item of the shipment was this jacket. It's a heavier jacket with a cotton base and faux leather material arms. It's not really my style of jacket, but the good news is that the fit of the jacket is much better than jackets I've received from Five Four in the past. It was a roomy fit all around, waist, shoulders, and arms while in the past I've had really tight shoulders and waist issues on the same size.
Here's a look at the style of the arms of the jacket.
Sterling Scarf
With the main items being a jacket, you're almost guaranteed an accessory as the second item. This month is a scarf. I don't hate scarves, I just very rarely wear them. This scarf is a super thin material, probably more for a winter in California than Pittsburgh, so I really won't get use of it.
Verdict: Not a great month of Five Four for me this month based on my personal style. It's always tough when they include a high-value item, and that item is a miss for my style. That being said, this has been a rare off-month of Five Four for me recently, and I've been more impressed with the subscription as of late. Five Four doesn't include prices of their items on the invoice anymore, even though they make all of their clothing, so those prices were really up to your discretion. I've found a lot of value in this subscription in the 2+ years I've been subscribing - I love their casual items, I'm wearing one of their shirts right now!
