Organic Bath Co Stress Less Body Oil - 5 ml Value $2.25

This is an all-organic lavender scented oil. It it pretty lightweight, and I love the scent - very relaxing!

Pelle Beauty Luxe Beauty Balm - 4 ml Value $9

This beauty balm has a lovely natural/herbal scent. It can be used daily or as a more intense moisturizer after using a drying beauty mask or exfoliator. (I love it for cuticles too!)

One Love Organics Healthy Locks Dry Shampoo Powder - 17 g Value $12

Like everything else One Love Organics makes, this smells SO GOOD! The scent is a little beachy, and I like it so much I will use this just to scent my hair even if I don't need dry shampoo!

Modern Minerals Lotus Wei Infused Emotive Lip Gloss in Violet Rose - FULL SIZE! Value $24

I love that this item alone is worth more than the cost of the box! This lip gloss has a good amount of shine, some sheer color, and a little shimmer. I'm a fan - the color works well for my skin tone. Here it is swatched:

Verdict: This box has a value of about $47. I think that's really good for a $15 beauty box, and I'm happy with the sizes of the items. Also - everything just smells so good in this box!

I love my subscription but I really wish both Petit Vour and Birchbox would stop giving me so many dry shampoos! I have 4 right now that I can’t use up!

I’ve been so happy with my Petit Vour subscription! This month is no exception. Love the color of the lip gloss and that beauty balm is amazing! I dropped Birch Box because I was unhappy with the ingredients in so many products. Never have that problem with PV! Love, love, love!

I am thinking of canceling ipsy and join one of the other subscriptions that is more environmentally friendly products. What subscription you guys would recommend? I want to keep the same range in term of $ amount that I need to pay. It is not that I don’t like ipsy anymore. Just want to try something else. As much as I don’t mind keeping the subscription, I had to turn my closet drawers into beauty drawers. Plus overflow into my room. I do have problems with subscription. Haha

Goodebox is what I switched to. IPSY was not my favorite.
I still get birchbox but not sure how long that will last.
I LOVE my Goode box!!!

Everyone gets the same thing with Petit Vour except for color variations. I dropped ipsy in favor of PV and have been very happy. You may not get as much “makeup” as you are used to, but overall you get a great mix of products. The value is always good too. I also sub Goodebox and for full size each month I LOVE Beauty Heroes.

Thanks all. I took the 1st step and cancel my ipsy. Gosh that was hard. haha. As much as I like having their bags that come with it, I ended up with so much. I can’t keep my BB’s boxes around since I moved so much. It just added up from all those subscriptions. New year resolution–de-cluttering my beauty products for sure.

I agree with Mimi – Petit Vour is one of my two favorite natural (vegan) beauty subscriptions, and it’s closest in price to ipsy. I dropped both ipsy and Birchbox for the same reason. Goodebox is the other, but it costs more ($18-$21, depending on the term). I miss the monthly cosmetic bags from ipsy, but that’s about it!

I love PV and think it’s better than Ipsy, not only because it’s all natural but I find the selection is better. The point system is better too — not as good as Birchbox (nothing else is that good), but definitely worthwhile. I really like the mix of skincare/make-up items in PV, and it certainly has introduced me to a lot of new brands. I’ve bought more full-sized products through PV than through Ipsy.

Petit Vour has a limited beauty profile, and I sometimes get different colors in makeup than Liz, but not this month. It’s not my usual color, but it’s really lovely!
